The Real Donald Trump (helping ground zero, Levin owes Trump a big apology).

According to Kerick, who by the way spent a great deal of time down at Ground Zero, Donald Trump displayed incredible generosity and concern towards the volunteers and first responders who worked down at “The Pile” sifting through debris for body remains. Bernie told me without hesitation, “Trump instructed hundreds of his hotel workers to head down to Ground Zero and offer a hand doing whatever needed to be done. Be it hand out water, food, etc, etc.” I asked if the cameras caught any of this? Kerick explained there were no cameras permitted in the area, and Trump knew this. Meaning, he didn’t do it for the fanfare or press clippings. Perhaps Donald did it because he loves America, and because he cares about the American people?

Kerick went on to say Trump himself visited Ground Zero to help lift spirits and to thank the tireless workers who were down there each day and night searching for bodies. “He didn’t have to do it, he wanted to do it. That’s the Trump I know.”

I am trying to catalogue as many of these type of vignettes I can that are from reliable sources. I am one of those who believe pounding positives can undo negatives and we need that going into Indiana and the General.

Did you document the farm in Georgia that he saved from bank foreclosure when the farmer committed suicide?

That time when Donald Trump saved a Georgia farm

"One narrative emerging around the surprisingly resilient Donald Trump portrays the brash billionaire as a final card laid down by Republican blue-collar voters who see their way of life — and their political clout — draining away in a bathtub spiral."

"Trump has been a man of last resort before. Right here in Georgia, in fact."

This was from 1986.

In his book “The Art of the Deal,” Trump wrote that, in a phone call, he twisted the arm of a vice president of the Georgia bank that held the Hill mortgage.

“I said to the guy, ‘You listen to me. If you do foreclose, I’ll bring a lawsuit for murder against you and your bank, on the grounds that you harassed Mrs. Hill’s husband to his death.’ All of a sudden, the banker sounded very nervous and said he’d get right back to me. Sometimes it pays to be a little wild,” Trump wrote.

Find me the equivalent Cruz quote. Try, try, try to think it through.

Cruz: 'We'll take money from anyone' –Politico

Ted Cruz’ Gay Marriage Money –TexasMonthly

Have you added the story about the couple that helped Trump when he had car problems on the see of the road?

Yes, so do I and when I was little, they also used to have tiny bottles of many different perfumes, in department store ladies’ rest rooms, that they would offer you on a tray, to use.

I can understand the first part and why you never saw any, but they had and still have them in fine restaurants, hotels, and department stores in Chicago and perhaps in other Midwestern states as well. *shrugs*

Thank you; I did my best to help those who are unfamiliar with them to know what Rest Room attendants have done for a considerably long time.

IIRC, some Men's Rooms even had shoeshine men.

That was mighty white of Trump, telling his hotel workers to risk injury while he didn’t get his hands dirty.

Disturbing trend of gay bloggers and so-called conservative lawyers attacking Trump, someone who’s actually accomplished tangible things.

So now if you question Duckin' Donald, you're a "gay blogger" or a "so-called conservative lawyer"?

Have fun at the General if he makes it. I'm going fishing. I try to avoid venues where fricking insane people congregate, and whether they're voting for Socialist Sanders or Felonious Hillary or Twitterin' Trump, it's going to be a whackjob convention.

You should take a cue from your tagline. You seem to be good at devouring what is good, and seem to go at it in a very Liberal way, too.

I can't speak for others, but I don't think Trump has ever seen himself as Liberal nor Conservative. He has been first and foremost a American businessman with old fashioned American can-do spirit. Which is something many people, especially the trolls here, lack. He knows how to get things done efficiently, quickly, and under budget. And, I have stated this a number of times before in various ways: In Trump, there is a lot of good; and, in my book, the much good he has done outweighs the bad, and he's done more conservative things than not.

Witnesses wouldn't help. Levin would claim they were bribed. Even if there was a video, Levin would not believe it; he'd claim it was faked.

So, by that reasoning he doesn't need any?

ROTDLMAO!

Try us anyway.

That has been my motto for years. No Cable Here. I don’t miss watching the talking heads ever. FR is a true blessing. And it’s starting to become less difficult to read through threads just in the past 24 hours. Pure magic ! :)

I encourage any one I talk to to cut their cable. My kids have almost never seen a commercial. :)

Amazing the clarity of this man’s thought. Sadly, I recall how energetic was Reagan was in the 1976 campaign. Trump is aging too. I think he’s a wiser more cautious man, but there is fire in him.

His critics, like that pompous ass George Will, will never give him credit. I think Trump could debate anyone, even Buckley.

I’ve seen this and my response is this.

Back when the protest began in Oregon, Trump, Cruz etc. told the protestors to back off.

LaVoy, Ammon Bundy and the others came out there to Free the Hammonds and return the federally controlled land of Harney County to the people of Harney County.

The Hammonds (Dwight and Steven) were unjustly imprisoned for a second time as ‘terrorists’ for lighting a backfire to save their property from a brush fire.

The politicians in general were too busy sniping at each other and too scared at what the media would say to support the Hammonds. At least the Constitutional Sheriff, Glenn Palmer, in Grant County, Oregon suggested the Hammonds be released from jail and he caught hell for it.

I hope somebody running for POTUS stands up for them and visits the family members in Harney County and calls for their release.

We can do better than what was posted in this link.
