In a portion of an interview with Manu Raju that aired on CNNs New Day on Thursday, Speaker of the House Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)56% discussed his tenure as House Speaker and what hes doing, including how he is handling the job differently from his predecessor John Boehner.
But also, he vowed there would be no government shutdown.
I think I would do it better, Ryan said. Not to knock John, but I spend more time with all of our members on a continual basis. And so, because I was a person that wasnt looking for this job, what Im trying to do is be responsible with the power that comes with this job and decentralize that power to make members more empowered.

Obama: “Here’s the deal: Sharia is the law of the land or else I will shut down the government and blame the Republicans.”
Ryan: “You win.”

Usual quisling playing to the other side's narrative.
Congress doesn't need to shut down the government. It simply needs to omit funding for programs that should be shut down.

I agree. Ryan is totally corrupt.

Ryan = cheesy-headed RINO.
The only difference from Bone-head is that he appears to not be inebriated.

Ryan and McConnell are so pussified they could be held up through the mail. And we will all be told we must have a “Republican Congress” by the Party hacks. What does that mean at this point? No opposition, go along get along, keep the party going. Hell if I want that why would I vote for these fake turd head liberals, why not vote for the real thing with a (D) in front of their names.

Pity. Government shutdowns are good things. The only people who should be deathly afraid of them are so-called “progressives”, after all, it’s that lot who think that the civilization will collapse if we were governed by the actual Constitution rather than the traditions of the Court.
