“I’m a very spiritual person and I’m really open to learning,” the Catholic-born actress told The Sun on her conversion to Islam. Lohan, 29, who was spotted carrying a copy of the Koran while tending to her community service in New York last summer, also said there’s more to the text than what many people have been led to believe.
And you can totally trust Lindsay when it comes to the Koran because it’s not like she’s walking around preaching about it without even reading the whole thing. Who does that?
“I’m not done reading it. Do you know how long that would take? It takes so long,” Lohan said.

make sure you understand what you are reading: If terrorism has no religion then why are there 164 verses about jihad in the Quran, the religious book of Islam?
I would say, though, as a woman, if you are gonna convert, later in life is better. And, well, Lohan is looking 40 already so, yeah...
Living in Phoenix with translucent white skin, I wish I could wear a burka out and not look crazy. Not gonna convert for that purpose though.
If you’re up to it, Ms Lohan, after you’ve finished the Koran, reading a second book might be a good move, followed by yet another and another.
Somewhere into the second thousand, perhaps, you may begin to see a relationship between all those words on pages and reality - that will be you spotting a clue!
