Absurd nonsense, meaningless poll! If the RNC pulls a fast one over the objections of the voters, Kasich is not going to defeat Hillary. Factor that into your poll!

“Whatever happened to William F. Buckley’s admonition that one should support the most conservative candidate that is likely to win? Neither Trump nor Cruz fits that description.”

The problem with that is that K-sick isn’t a conservative, so we’re back to Trump, because sCruze is dead man walking. and using this jerks logic, would loose to Hillary even worse than Trump! (which is all BS anyway)

Well, the GOP Establishment put $100 million dollars behind Cheap Labor Express Jebby. That’s how badly they wanted to lose.

DT shook up their plans and Jebby went crawling back to Mommy and Daddy after a few 4% days. I’m shocked 4% were stupid enough to support another open-borders Bush.

The GOP Establishment, supporting Hillary, knew that no “Bush” will ever be elected to President again. And for a lot of good reasons.

They had their Uniparty plans in place.

The just-released NBC-Wall Street Journal poll, the most up-to-date information available, has Kasich defeating Clinton by 59 to 31!

I'm sorry, but nobody....and, I do mean NOBODY....is going to join in a tsunami of support to sweep John Kasich into the White House. The guy is about as exciting as a bowl of Farina with a side of white toast.

Trump will win the nomination and defeat Hillary. How the “GOP” fares otherwise I could care less. Trump has done a hostile takeover of the “Republican Party” because it provides the best vehicle for accomplishing the above.

These establishment types just can’t accept the fact that their “conservatives” got us into this pickle jar. If we are going to get out of the jar it will take someone willing to break the jar because the neck is just too narrow, now.

If Trump doesn’t make it, the we aren’t any worse off then we were before. The difference between Republicans and Democrats has been the speed with which we headed to perdition, not the direction.

Ron Radosh is delusional.

Kasich? He hasn’t won a single state outside of his native OH.

Yeah, in NY he nabbed a few delegates and got like what - a quarter million votes?

And Radosh seriously says he could defeat Hillary? In some alternative universe.

A poll that would be fun would be to give voters a list of issues that Kasich supports and actions he’s taken, without telling them who the candidate is. It sure would be fun to see who would be supporting him then.

Trump really, REALLY has the neocons spooked.

One more reason to like him.

All the convoluted hand waving logic in the article is just nonsense. Slap enough varied crap against the wall and hope that which sticks makes a cohesive argument. Why not save space and shorten it to “I like Kasich.”

I thought Dole, McLame and Romney were all great candidates?

Sorry, instead of letting the party bosses, or the media, or some polls pick the GOP candidate - this year the voters get their chance, and they picked Trump.

Time for all the Kasich and Cruz well-wishers to say goodbye and get on the Trump train.

This is nonsense. Kasich can't even get real traction in the primary; how is he supposed to do better in the general election that either of the two leading primary candidates?

The bottom line is that "Generic Republican" or "Generic Democrat" does better in the polls than any actual Republican or Democrat, because the former has none of the real-world baggage of the latter. Kasich has been so barely-visible that he polls like a "Generic Republican".

Ronald McDonald the Clown Radosh should check out the latest poll that shows Trump doing better against Hillary than Cruz or Kay-Sick.

One of the bummers of this political season is that the ostensibly conservative media has given up reasoned political analysis in favor of angry polemic trashing Cruz or Trump, depending on where their sympathies lie. It’s gotten really boring and caused me to just tune out.
