Curt’s not stupid. He knew there was a very high probability that ESPN would react this way.
He’s a man of character, not willing to be silenced by the idiots running the asylum.
Good for Curt and I wish him the best.
I see where Curt’s slot on the Sunday Night Baseball broadcast crew has been filled by an Hispanic woman who played college softball.
Bathroom monitors isn’t the issue. The issue is that you are a radical homophobe if you dare to say that men should use male facilities and women should use women’s. Curt Schilling was fired for intolerance. How has the argument become so twisted that North Carolina is the subject of scorn for passing a common sense law? Alinsky would be proud.
This is no longer America! This is a chaotic upside down social engineered cesspool that is dismantling our Constitution that was founded on Judea Christian values!
we are collapsing faster than any other Empire!
IIRC, there was such a case several years ago. A tranny (man to “woman”) petitioned to play in the LPGA. I don’t really remember the details other than that.
ESPN stands for perverts.
How many homos & gender confused watch their channels not many I bet.
This is just liberalisms working at mainstreaming pedophilia, coming to a restroom near you.
Drudge headline: Wild fight breaks out at gender-neutral bathroom in Los Angeles...
I guess it will be announced soon that she’s also a lesbian midget...
ESPN has jumped the shark...the few times I’ve tuned into a baseball game, they’ve had women commentators on trying sooooooo hard to talk like they’re experts on the game.
Time to block them from the lineup...and call DirectTV again and demand a la carte programming.
Wife is almost convinced it’s time to cut the cable...but I just can’t seem to push her over the edge. sigh.
Yes we are.
The 1st amendment has always been a double edged blade.
We all have the right...as US citizens...to speak freely as protected by the 1st. However, we must be prepared to deal with the consequences of such speech.
Schilling's rant is a perfect example. I agree with him and support his right to say it. But, if he doesn't like the backlash from the ignorant in our nation, he should stay off of Twitter. Apparently, he doesn't give a damn flying fig about the backlash. And that's a good thing.
Been there, done that.
Renée Richards (born August 19, 1934) is an American ophthalmologist and former tennis player who had some success on the professional circuit in the 1970s. In 1975 Richards underwent male-to-female sex reassignment surgery. She was then denied entry into the 1976 US Open by the United States Tennis Association, which began that year requiring genetic screening for female players.
She disputed this policy and the New York Supreme Court ruled in her favor in 1977 in a landmark decision in favor of transsexual rights. As one of the first professional athletes to identify as such, she became a spokesperson for the transgender community.
As I said on another thread, despite this sort of behavior from ESPN, conservatives will continue to watch ESPN. Sad.
Fun Fact: Renee Richards was my great-aunt’s eye doctor.
Before he became a he-she-it.
My aunt was a nun, so as you can imagine she was mortified!
Ouch.
There's that and unlike some sportscasters, she did come across as pretty neutral the few times I was listening.
So why are bakers and florists getting sued to accommodate homo weddings?
