Congratulations to our presumptive nominee, Donald Trump!
Great job in New York and throughout this campaign. Cruz and Kasich are now mathematically eliminated and just like all the others who were mathematically eliminated should concede and drop out so we can all unite behind our nominee and prepare to defeat the godless America-hating traitor Hillary Clinton in November.
As conservatives and patriots, it's time to put bruised egos behind us, heal our differences and act united in the best interests of our nation. The media and the GOPe will try to keep us divided, of course, but we must not fall for their treasonous tricks.
A divided Republican party will ensure Hillary waltzes into the White House in November.
Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction. Hillary would be a third term for Obama and would complete his mission of completely destroying America.
Do not let freedom expire on our watch!!

I think that it would be very nice if Cruz supporters (and Cruz himself) showed themselves at all willing to give up their rancor and bile for the sake of the country.
Why on earth should we give them the time of day if they’re going to do nothing but try to get Hillary elected with their bitterness?
At this rate, we’d get more votes reaching out to Bernie supporters than to those who are earning the Sore Cruzerman title.
And no, I am not naming names (except for the ZOTees, ha ha!) or calling you one of those.

Personally, what I'm looking forward to is the buyers remorse for the hardcore Trump supporters. The daily caucus threads are going to be really, really useful.
Exactly. But, Cruz should not have decended into the gutter with Trump on name calling and the back and forth back biting.
He should have just stuck with his message and his vision of what he would accomplish as president.

Jim Rob may have called this for Trump. And started bugzapping the anti-Trumpists. But that means nothing to the Convention process.
Ted or Kasich may well indeed be the spoiler. And if so - it is because they are sucking up to the GOP-e.
I maintain Donald will too, or he will not have the inside the Beltway support that is necessary to win.

I’m afraid that ship has sailed. At most we can try to preserve one house of Congress as a bulwark against Hillary, but too many people on both sides will sit out or go 3rd party if the “wrong” candidate is nominated for a Republican nominee to win the White House this year. A lot of Trump supporters have said their goal was to tear down the GOP; well, I think they succeeded, at least for this year.
Because Trump WILL NOT WIN without them. You want to win, right? You want to beat Hildebeeste, right?

Most Cruz supporters will vote for Trump when faced with the stark choice of Trump vs. Hillary. The obsessive compulsive Trump haters aren't a significant demographic.
Now see, here’s what worries me... I hear Trump supporters here gloating about watching Cruz supporters eat crow, and then Cruz supporters anticipating the schadenfreude when Trump turns out to not be what the Trumpsters imagine him to be.
I don’t think we should be gleefully anticipating each others’ impending discomfiture, regardless of the side we’re on.

In reality, Durbin, you, and all of us are faced with a binary choice.
Trump or Hillary?
Those will be the only candidates who have a chance of winning after the conventions, (unless of course, Hillary drops out due to health or an indictment, in which case, Biden/Warren will be up within 72 hours.)
Is Trump perfect? No. But you get the potatoes with the beef, the rice with the chicken, and no substitutions are allowed.
I think even RR would have told you that he himself was not perfect.... but, damn, those were 8 great years.
Is Trump perfect? No, but he is a hell of a lot better than the Hildabeast.... and America will choose one of them to be our President for the next 4/8 years... if America would ever last 8 years under Hillary.!
