Hello! I'm LIVE from Cologne answering your questions on Donald J. Trump
Facebook ^ | 4/20/2016 | Newt Gingrich

Posted on 04/20/2016 11:17:10 AM PDT by GilGil

Newt Gingrich just did a live feed broadcast from his Facebook while in Germany and said that as of NOW Trump IS the presumptive nominee and that by the time he hits California he will already have the 1237 he needs!!!!

Gingrich also comments briefly on John Podesta who works for Clinton and who works also for Saudi Arabia trying to lobby against legislation allowing US citizens to sue Saudi Arabia.

Newt is trying out live broadcasts on Facebook. His commentary is really good and incisive. His post is on the "timeline" section of Facebook and is at the top for now. Really excellent.

Mr. Mercat and I will be in Europe in late August and through September this year. I expect to be fielding a lot of questions about the campaign.

There are actually two Newt Gingriches. One is the steady, solid conservative. The other one is the squishy DC insider. You can never quite know which one is going to show up on any given day.

Newt is really really smart, except when he is really really stupid.

Some more quotes for ya...

If you lie down with dogs, you’ll get up with fleas.

It is better to be alone than in bad company.

Do not be deceived: Bad company corrupts good morals.

As the saying goes that a man is known by the company he keeps. Good company can make a man whereas bad company can ruin him.

I’ve never seen two people more capable of popping a political balloon than Bob Dull and Newt Grinderich.

Just when you get the big mo going in your direction, one of those two would pop up to say something completely defeating, giving the press or the opposition something to focus on to defeat the cause.

Newt can talk on and on about the U. S. Constitution. He gives some of the best presentations I’ve ever heard. Then he’ll walk across the street and completely muff a Constitutional issue.

It’s like he’s two different people.

It’s also why I can’t support the guy for public office.

Newt would be a better pick than a lot of names I am hearing

I hold newt Gingrich and pat Buchanan as the best thinkers in the gop. Neither would make good vp picks.

Newt might be a useful thinker and maybe a good chief of staff. But I do not think he is high energy enough according to Trump’s likings. On the few occasions Trump has talked about a vp pick he said the individual had to be very high energy and had to know the workings of the congress expertly.

Don’t think Newt would be high energy enough.

Furthermore, is that all you have on a guy who wrote Contract With America and balanced the budget?

Yeah, a little of that “establishment” endorsement won’t hurt. Anyway Pelosi is Trump’s friend too. He even donated to her campaign but Trumpeteers don’t care when it’s their guy.

I agree. It's amazing how many people denigrate Newt because he's not as perfect as they themselves claim to be, with Jesus Christ printed on their birth certificates.
