Hillary Clinton : 1,037,344 ( forget Sanders 700K +)

Trump + Kasich +Cruz: 855,000

Yep, better do what New York tells us to do, because we have a great chance of winning NY in November!!

It's depressing to see both of those names in this same sentence

One interpretation could be;

This was a home state victory ... nothing more

>> Another problem for Cruz: he’s the favorite son… of Calgary, Alberta. Donald Trump is the favorite son of Queens, New York.

I suppose they have a stampede in Queens.

“His problem was, New York values a chance to actually vote for the candidates.”

It’s more than a Cruz problem, Hillary got double the votes Trump did. Bernie got 200,000 more votes than Trump did. But let’s keep talking about those New York values.

“Trump had 8.2 million votes in all the primaries so far...”
to Bernie’s 7.37 million votes (*).

But that’s just because NY is a closed primary. < /sarc >

(*) Kentucky Democrat primary has not occurred yet.

Just some clarification. Trump is doing very well with evangelicals. Him winning in NY had nothing to do, with a lack of religion in NY. The states that are suppose to be the most relugious, Trump has won most of them.

We get President Hillary if the GOP fails to unite behind a candidate.

Now McConnell is telling a Louisville TV station that he’s “cautiously optimistic” that the convention will be “contested.”

Even the Mittster is conceding that Trump will probably get his 1237.

But New York? His kind of town, New York is not Ted Cruz’s kind of town, or state. Not enough holy rollers or snake handlers. Not everybody in New York speaks English, but very few speak in tongues. Sorry, Rafael.

Just had to insert that, huh, Howie? Couldn't say what you wanted to without that hyperbolic assault on Christianity?

I am a Trump supporter, and a Cruz admirer; I am also a deeply dedicated Christian. The obligatory secular snark by this writer is but an appetizer for those who just can't wait to unload similarly on Cruz, should he win the nomination. Therein lies the problem, and in large part, the reason I, as a Cruz admirer, opt for Trump.

..............................................

Last time I looked Ted Cruz is a Southern Baptist. They to my knowledge don't speak in tongues, holy roll, or handle snakes.

A lot of the attacks on Cruz are about his faith. It seems those who do the attacking would prefer someone who pays lip service to Christianity. They would prefer someone who doesn't get their values from our Judeo Christian heritage, but from the progressive (socialist) left. Freedom from religions seems their creed, and a dismissal of the basis of our shared morality.

I’ve been reading about all the poling place issues. Now if Cruz wins a state and there are minor issues the Trumpsters claim it was rigged. Where are the trumpsters claiming NY was rigged?

For all his mockery of Christianity, it's that lack that has made NYS the economic hell hole it is and why people are leaving the state in droves.

He is also woefully ignorant of the Upstate, (outside NYC) demographic.

We are a red state controlled by a few blue cities.
