Following his win in Tuesday’s New York State Republican presidential primary, party front-runner Donald Trump addressed his supporters declared that it wasn’t much of a race anymore between he and opponent Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and that he was glad to have won delegates “with the votes.”

Two things changed for Trump and showed up last night:
Cruz’s Colorado ‘victory’ has INFURIATED the base. While Rush (trying to be unbiased) and others (of varying bias levels) may be saying that Trump needs to ‘play the delegates’ - pretty much everyone knows that the only chance Trump ever had with those GOPe clowns was to send them large checks, as in $50k or $100k, which would probably be illegal, or at best backfire on Trump.
Trump learning to shut his trap. Every time he builds momentum he sends out a tweet or says something stupid...and thus resets the Primary. He hasn’t done that in over 2 weeks, and it showed last night. He should coast to the nomination by just holding to this alone.
If it actually accomplished something, anything it would be bravo
to Cruz.
It accomplished nothing. Zero. Nada. Zilch.
Except making those like you “feel better”.
Grandstanding and chest pounding was all it was.
Not one tangible result came from it.

The reality is that Sen. Ted Cruz is simply even worse in regards to popularity than Mr. Trump. Hillary or Bernie would hand Sen. Cruz his rear end to him in the general.
In REALITY, Sen. Cruz has NO CHANCE, NONE at all to win in the GENERAL.

I think the GOP detests Cruz more for his ambition to cut in front of other chosen ones in the GOP and his use of the tea party to get into the senate. He is an abrasive, disliked insider wannabe. There is no way that he can be a defender of the constitution and be married to someone who coauthored CFR papers on how to create a north American union with open borders.

I've been a Cruz supporter from the outset but you are exactly correct. If you've been mathematically eliminated, you need to do the grown up thing and bow out. Anything else is being purposefully destructive to the conservative cause. While Trump may not be everyone's favorite, he's definitely better than Hillary.
This isn’t a internet campaign HQ for a failed Presidential bid. The ZOT hammer will come out. That is my prediction and hope.
One of Cruz’ biggest problems is while he does his “holy roller” schtick for the voters, he is perhaps the biggest backstabber in the Senate. His fellow senators do not trust his word. They know exactly how he operates.
Now to listen to our fellow Cruzers on FR tell it, it’s because he is so damn conservative and faithful to the cause and that’s why they don’t like him.
But Mike Lee & Jeff Sessions are just as conservative and you have never heard that about either of them.
Sen. Cruz is his own worst enemy. In many ways.
So sorry. I was under the impression that this was not the hq of any campaign but of conservative thought.

Walker
Cruz
Trump
If Cruz is nominated, the media will be playing the video of that minister calling for gays to be put to death and then later introducing Cruz as a speaker at the same conference.
If you support Cruz, ask yourself why the media is not playing this video right now? They will, its just not the right time.
Delegates are elected in PA. If Cruz wins delegates, that means that the people in each congressional district elected them. You don’t have a problem with that, do you?
(And 17 delegates go to the statewide winner of the vote.)
