‘You Gotta Stop!’ Hannity Loses His Cool with Ted Cruz Over Delegates
Mediaite ^ | 4/19/16 | Josh Feldman

Posted on 04/19/2016 3:22:36 PM PDT by markomalley

Sean Hannity got a little frustrated with Ted Cruz during a radio interview this afternoon over his campaign’s delegate game.

Cruz said he doesn’t think most people care about this stuff. Hannity shot back by invoking his millions of followers and saying plenty of people “find this whole process confusing.”

When Cruz dismissively said only Donald Trump‘s people are complaining, Hannity kind of blew up:

“Senator, why do you do this? Every single time––no, you gotta stop! Every time I have you on the air and I ask you a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face, I’m getting sick of it!”

Cruz testily asked, “Sean, can I answer your last question without being interrupted?”

He explained how the system works and how the “noise and complaining and whining” is only coming from Team Trump. Hannity shot back that people have serious issues and “it’s a simple question, it’s not a Trump question.”

(video at link)

At one point, Hannity said, “Senator, I don’t know why you’re mad.” Cruz said he’s not mad, he’s just irked that he’s asking “only about the nonsense” and not about policy.

Hannity insisted he has asked the senator about policy plenty of times and simply wants to address

Hannity also gives Trump TV time. And I didn’t mention O’Reilly so you must be hearing voices in your head. Hannity posted that Cruz had 43 APPEARANCES and Trump had 41 APPEARANCES on his show. He couldn’t give stats in MINUTES because that would have made a lie of his statement that he gave more time to Cruz.

This kind of thought picture is more appropriate for House Harkonnen.

It does not do the Cruz campaign any favors to advocate for him with such language.

“Beck and only Beck is responsible for what he says”.

Bulls***, teddy could have disavowed Beck, but didn’t do a damn thing.

[I’d be willing to bet Hannity will formally endorse Trump...]

Journalists and media hosts have a contract they have to sign NOT to officially or any other way endorse a political candidate.

I am at a point to where Cruz grates on my nerves just as much as Donald Trump. All this whining and bitching and complaining from the GOP’s two Victicrat candidates is sicking.

Trump and Cruz are not fit to lead this country. The big problem is is, who is fit to run this country.

I have absolutely no hope for the future.

What have you done about Trump and his insults? Nothing. You even approve. Your whining is selective.

Hannity has not claimed to be the hand of God or to hear voices like Beck seems to.

The process is not a secret. And any one with any sense knows that campaigns need volunteers so the excuse of there was no outreach is silly. If a person is interested in being part of a party it is obvious that they have to do more than show up at one election. This take my hand and walk me through life attitude that Trumpster’s have is exhausting.

Cruz doesn’t want voters to be engaged in the process. He wants Party agents to decide, not the base, not the people. Therefore he is an unprincipled surrogate of a caste system that disenfranchises the Republican base and is the classic example of the type of politician of a Party Syndicate which the base has had enough of and which the majority has now rejected but yet these type of politicians such as Cruz strive to use the very same agents of disenfranchisement to try and suppress the will of the people, who strive to keep the silent majority silent, who champion voterless elections, and disrepect our most cherished American values including foremost the vote and participation of the people, he is unworthy of any office much less the very idea of a candidate for President as a nominee by means of top down delegation that is a clear and present danger to our liberty. Once a politician gains by drinking such poison, they can NEVER be reformed. They must be stopped - stop Cruz, stop Party Syndicalism, agents of the Syndicate are not the voice of the people, free the Republican Party from such an un-American venue of caste and corruptions. Stop Cruz. Stop the GOPe.

Cruz is just like Rubio repeating the same talking points over and over.

My wife does not work for a giant financial institution all over the Obama administration that supports Ted.
Goldman Sachs is a problem IMO.

<snarking mode on>

I just can no longer force myself to listen to Sean Hannity after today. He's just too in-bed with The Donald (pardon the gross imagery here).

(Note: this does not mean that I'm ok with any Rush/Cruz in-bed imagery).

How is the “base” not people? Are they alligators? Sorry that the “base” doesn’t support your candidate, but that’s how things go sometimes when a candidate thinks he can bluster and bully his way through life.
