You dont get it.

The GOPe bosses came into Colorado and changed the system from the caucus system (1912 till 1988) and changed to a primary system (1988 till 2004). Then the grass roots found that they were shut out of the party. That is why the grass roots took control of the state party back from the national bosses and returned back to the caucus system (2004 on) Under the current caucus system, the locals are the ones who get elected to the delegate positions. They are elected by their neighbors and not appointed by the party bosses.

As a veteran, I can tell you that many other veterans PREFER the caucus system because we have seen how the binding primary corrupts the state party and we don’t want to have anything to do with that. When the veterans and mom and pop republicans learn about the how and why we got to the current caucus system; when they get the truth instead of the missleading headlines of the main stream media, they quickly see that the current system works better than the primary system.

Could the system be improved possibly. I fail to see how a person not present at the caucus could vote for the delegate as the slate of delegates is not known until the day of the caucus.

could the system be improved , you had better believe it can, will it, hell no..

Primaries where all can vote , including those aboard and risking their lives right now do not have a say. Disgusting.

Caucuses do not allow everyone and is restricted by basically by the party to keep power for themselves as I was told on here by a cruz voter, it is not the voter who gets to decide it is the party.

Seems giving an illusion and spending million upon millions which could go to vets is all a waste of time.

As I was told on this thread b a certain establishment hack then the party decides not the voter so here is a thought. 17 people running and let the party , you know those establishment elitist types have a vote and we will just not bother voting in the primary, in the caucus or the general and then see them lose their power to the other corrupt party.
