Ted Cruz sweeps Wyoming Republican Convention
CNN ^ | 4/16/16 | Dan Berman

It's a Ted Cruz sweep in Wyoming.

Cruz won 14 of 14 Republican National Convention delegates up for grabs at the Wyoming state convention here Saturday. The crowd here was clearly in Cruz's corner, as the Texas senator was the only candidate to make the trip to Casper -- ahead of a major snowstorm -- and Sarah Palin, scheduled to speak for Trump, previously canceled.

Trump ignores Colorado and Wyoming which is okay if that’s what he wants to do, but then why whine about it.

Face it, Trump is lazy.

There was no binding presidential preference poll at the voter level in Wyoming. Trying to link the 2 is just disingenuous

Our founding fathers set up the United States of America as a representative republic for a reason. With three branches to guarantee checks and balances so that there would be less chance of tyranny. They were divinely inspired.

A democracy is five Lions and a zebra arguing about what’s for dinner.

Trump has the patent on tantrums. Cruz never throws one.

Cruz just calmly goes on with the business of winning the nomination, state by state.

I doubt if he gives a rat’s rear about what Drudge does.

So far, the whining so far on this thread is reaching epic level.

So, either Wyoming is too small potatoes to bother with ... OR Wyoming is important but Ted stole the votes.

How long are the trumpers on this site going to carry the water for a guy who is making no effort himself?

You’re beginning to look pretty pathetic.

Ted has charmed voters by using the words “Conservative” and “Constitution”. With Cruz, one may have to chose between Christianity and the above.

We don’t really need voters.

I’m sure you understand. :)

Jim Robinson said that if you don’t support the Republican candidate, then you are part of the problem. I was simply re-stating what he said.

I had been anti-Trump back in February. I’m now anti-Hillary.

These 700 people were elected at local caucuses, by any registered Wyoming Republican who wanted to participate

What a set up. No insiders among them right? Nobody is stacking the decks, right?

Are you suggesting the majority of the population of Wyoming voters do not want to participate? No one directed anyone to take the time, drive somewhere, get in line, and do what they're supposed to do, or paid to do? Really? This process is not set up to be compromised and undermined?

??

I would imagine most everyone in Wyoming would have liked to participate. More often than not, many times in life I want to do things but are unable due to schedules, work and a million other issues...

We need to rid ourselves of that election process. It reeks like a week old homicide scene. It's a total setup for those motivated to manipulate elections. This isn't even disputable or debatable.

Btw, are any of those participants charged money?

I can’t figure out why all these trumpers vowing never to vote for Cruz if and when he wins the nomination are still allowed to post here.

I thought people were zotted for that.

Then why are you whining???

The entire thread is whining by trumpers.

Either wyoming doesn’t matter or it does.

Trump has not had to spend any Trump money yet.

He’s gotten an estimated one billion dollars in free advertising from the media and Ted Cruz has gotten almost none.

Trump pays for a hall and has a large audience; gets in his jet and flies home to his bed in Trump Towers.

He is basically lazy and stingy.

He flips off wyoming and won’t even bother to send Sarah Palin there to speak and then apparently wonders why he didn’t win.

In spite of the fact that Ted Cruz was a little known candidate who got none of the Trump free publicity, he is now on a path to get the presidency.

Amazing.

Blaming Trump for liberal protestors acting like liberal protestors was astonishing to me. He just keeps it up as though he is so smart no one will see through him.

Yea, lets keep repeating the word “whining” again and again and people will accept that 700 establishment voters decided the Wyoming delegates...

Lazy...lol

Folks get exhausted just looking at Trumps schedule. About 4 hours a night sleep. The man has worked harder than anyone in D.C. They couldn’t keep up with Trump.
