Conservatives -
Which unfortunately are the shrinking minority of Republicans and will not be sufficient to drag any Republican over the finish line.
The candidate must appeal to a larger group of voters.
The family and friends I have in Texas are voting Trump. I guess they’ve done their homework on Cruz and his early days in college.
Well the Michelle Field incident was what turned me against Cruz. That was the last straw
Cruz supporters started to disconnect from him when Cruz blamed the Chicago violence on Trump.
Ted Cruz attempted, once again, to deny Planned Parenthood its government funding rather than letting McConnell rubber stamp it. Planned Parenthood sells the organs of babies it aborts. This is an unconscionable evil and something every conservative should want to support ending such government funding regardless of who your favorite candidate is.
Yet, in this insane primary season, such social conservatism of Ted Cruz is painted as "bad" because it shows he "loses support of fellow Republicans"?! Shame.
Cruz support here ranges between 13%- 17%.
If by “Republicans” you mean RINO, than yes, I would agree. And that would make sense, since Republicans USED to stand for LIFE, LIBERTY, INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY, SMALL LIMITED GOVERNMENT AND GODLY PRINCIPLES, ya know, “conservatism”. But since the progressives have twisted the whole idea of what it is to be a Republican, and so many frauds have infiltrated the party, and words have been redefined, it’s no wonder.
They aren’t true Republicans to begin with.
It isn't. The take away from this is that Cruz is incredibly ineffective and lacks leadership skills.
The title should read “ Ted Cruz losing support of RINOS and the Establishment” Great news for Ted!
Pretty sure he never had It to begin with!
“Cruz support here ranges between 13%- 17%.”
Why it’s just about like where he is in New York!
Conservatives are shrinking fast because they pursue a policy of open borders and importing million of DEM into country.
You can tell a lot about someone by who his enemies are. In this case I would say it is a good thing that the likes of McConnel don’t like Cruz. Defunding Planned Parenthood would be great, so I am not surprised the RINO Senate would not have the cojones to do it.
So, now we should hold the fact that fellow Republican Senators sided with Obama and the Democrats against Cruz, against Cruz? I thought uniparty politics was the problem in DC. Now Ted Cruz is attacked because he stood against the uniparty and establishment? That makes no sense whatsoever.
My take is a bit different.
His desire is fine - protecting babies.
It is the simple fact that even after being "in the club" no one there seems to like him.
It is difficult to portray yourself as a leader when you have so little influence that no one follows "your leadership."
uh...ya....that’s because Cruz IS NOT ESTABLISHMENT!!
Ha...as if the FR Caucus is indicative of real results. About as much as a “straw poll” does...
Just because the count is low on the FR caucus, doesn’t mean there’s not just as many Cruz supporters as there are Trump supporters. Maybe, like me, other Cruz supporters don’t feel it’s worth their time to vote on such a silly caucus....every day.
So were supposed to dislike Ted Cruz because he is staunchly pro-life?
How many babies does losing 99-1 save? None at all. Cruz is striking a campaign pose here and everybody knew it. That’s why he lost the “vote” 99-1.
Checkbox Republicans life image over substance.
Ok, how is Michelle Fields related in any way to Cruz?
She works at Breitbart, the same Breitbart that I believe shills for Trump. So how does Cruz have anything to do with her?
