Trump is the only real conservative in this race. Despite what Cruz and Walker tout as conservative records they’re both al-in with the establishment. And we’ve been screwed enough by the establishment to know they’re no different than Democrats.

Cruz and Walker both sold out.

The bad news for Cruz is people actually get to vote in Nebraska May 10

Bad news because he's going to win in another blowout victory in another state that will actually vote Republican in the general election?

The bad news for Donny Boy is that in yet another state, like a typical low-info voter, failed to realize there is more to winning elections than simply having voters show up on one day of the year to the polls. There are important rules, processes and deadlines.

Trying to flip delegates that belong to another candidate shows what ruthless scumbag Cruz is. Fortunately, voters are getting sick of it and he is sinking in poll after poll in the last week.

Trump is an established, well-connected billionaire with strong friendships with the leading political, media and business figures in the country. He has funded and done backroom deals with both parties. Trump is the definition of establishment.

Cruz is pure anti-establishment, a man who rose up from nowhere with no money, has no friends in elite circles, and has been fighting his whole career for what the common man who believes in the greatness and traditions of America wants against the corrupt elites like Obama, Clinton, Trump, Boehner and McConnell.

“Party officials” are not the voters.”

*********************

I see that in 2012 over 180,000 people attended their local caucuses in Nebraska and voted for people to send to the state convention. The hundreds of delegates that they send to the state convention are “unbound”. At the state convention there were 33 people elected (by those hundreds of delegates) and those are bound.

Anybody can go to their neighborhood caucus as long as they have a photo id and are a registered Republican. I gave a $15 donation that was requested at mine (Washington State). I was elected to go to my district caucus. I think that had a required $15 fee.

Any voter could attend. Ours was mainly Cruz supporters. Probably owing to the several emails and a call I got from Cruz volunteers. Too bad Mr. Trump doesn’t do that. Although his big rallies and media buys are what he is going after, which may be the winning strategy.

There is no way that a man serious about the office, having run so many times previously, would be so unprepared.

It's as if he wants to go third party.

Which would had the election over to his acquaintance, Hillary Clinton.

The Wisconsin Democrats gave Cruz the counties surrounding Milwaukee last week to keep the schlub in the race.

Stop giving more evidence that Trump supporters function on conspiracy theories and magical thinking. We know that facts and logic are usually not enough to lead people to be Trump supporters.

“So Mr. back East, elitist, billionaire can’t make the time to even consider us toothless yokels in the flyover states and somehow that’s OUR problem?”

I saw a facebook post by a gal that was all new to the process in Colorado. She gave a long, detailed account that she posted on Larry’s facebook page (the guy that didn’t attend his county assembly/caucus).

Anyway - this gal heard about the “precinct caucus” (what’s that!?) and ends up as a delegate to state. She said some local politicians gave some speechs - and then Cruz showed up and gave a speech. She said it was okay. She said there were some Trump supporters - and felt that if Trump had shown up he could have brought a lot of enthusiasm to everyone.

She said that a few Trump supporters were elected as alternates to go to the National.

That is a point that the Trump supporters would like to ignore. They want everyone to believe that all Trump supporters were deliberately excluded from the process. But the Cruz campaign was just able to get MORE of their supporters to attend and vote for delegates that supported him than the Trump camp.

Yes very true. I don’t hear Trump crying about that advantage they built into Florida. We know they did this to help Jeb but now it’s helping Trump but he’s ok with that I guess. Only when it doesn’t help him does he care about the people’s votes.

It's the Magical Thinking of nastycruzers that believes that the Wisconsin vote is not a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party.

Thanks for playing, Jedi - but the numbers from the last three elections show the your Magical Thinking is just that. :)

Where have you been? Your world is upside down. Yes Trump was all of those things but no longer.

And yes, Cruz was supposedly against the establishment but for sure, 100%, no more. He is teaming up with GOP including Lindsey Graham, Bushes, McConnell, and rest to keep him in the game. He’s taking millions from GOP donors, using GOP infrastructure, everything available to help him steal delegates.

Don’t care if Trump wins ANY of the Central West, it’s over statistically at New York. Everyone knows this.
Ted is done.
And No magic second, third or umpteenth ballot will help Ted win
There will be no second ballot... Unless it results in the final coupe that removes all hope from Cruz supporters and solidifies the position of the front runner.
And the Cruz supporters who vigorously applauded Colorado’s semi closetted backroom deals by the #NeverTrump cadre... will scream bloody murder.
They are destined to become an echo chamber of hate and inconsolable bitterness. This will be the tragic result of their deeply revered leader staying in bed with the uniparty too long to matter anymore.
It’s going to happen.
The next two weeks are looking pretty dark for the Cruz campaign. I would hope that the campaign will show a little dignity and a modicum of humility... enough to lose gracefully instead of trying to damage the revived conservativism of a rebirthed truly nationalist party and our nation further.
I doubt they will... But it would be nice if at least some of them tried.

You sound like and make as much sense at Smeagol (Gollum) from the Hobbit & Lord of the Rings.

Those nasty hobbitses playing tricksies in Wisconsin.

Democracy in action. Someone tell Tramp he has to get elected, not selected. He can’t just whine to MSNBC and demand that RNC install him as the nominee, circumventing the democratic process and long-established laws and rules.
