In just the latest instance of a taxpayer-funded university singling out white students for privilege-shaming “education sessions,” the University of Wisconsin-Madison hosted a special workshop on Tuesday for the purpose of getting white students to acknowledge and confront their own white privilege.
According to the university website, “The Privilege of Whiteness” workshop was designed for white people to “reflect on and name the ways their privilege impacts their beliefs and behaviors by gaining the skills to identify the historical roots of White privilege and how it manifests today.” Prospective attendees were informed that the workshop was “designed for a White audience,” although “People of color” were still welcome.

Yes, this is blanket harassment based on race. White students should just start a class action lawsuit. Let the universities she’ll out the money for a legal defense, win or lose. Then repeat at every institution.

when asked to cite my "ethnicity" on application/medical forms, I always say "American". Confuses the heck out of the data crunchers.
I assume they have a comparable course for black students based on Chapter 13 (Ethnic Differences in Cognitive Ability) of the book, The Bell Curve, by Richard J Herrnstein and Charles Murray. I mean, if they have a course that maligns or tries to make white students feel guilty or not worthy of their own success ... why not a comparable course for black students?

I wonder if one of these sessions would remind you of the “M*A*S*H” episode “The General Flipped at Dawn”, in which the batty general (Harry Morgan in a guest role) charges Hawkeye with insubordination and then early on in the trial, starts singing a minstrel number and then dances away (basically ending the trial).
It is time the parents pull the money and thier kids out of these cesspools

My kids at school today will start out with a propaganda video on Ferguson and a lecture on not accepting that White Priviledge is a fact by the English teacher. Not making it up. When we raised a concern to administration the result was the English teacher telling my daughter her position is wrong.
It’s really worse than that. There was a country that actually had persons of one group wear yellow Stars of David on their sleeves, painted their stores and homes with Juden, forbade them from many jobs and then eventually hauled them off in trains.
Forced Public Shaming is just the first step of this similar journey.
