Exclusive — Former California GOP Chair: Ted Cruz ‘Better Positioned’ to Win State
Breitbart ^ | 13 Apr 2016 | by Michelle Moons

Posted on 04/13/2016 7:36:27 AM PDT by detective

Former California Republican Party chairman Tom Del Beccaro told Breitbart News on Tuesday that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is “better positioned” to win the state’s primary June 7, thanks to superior organization and the fact that only registered Republicans will be able to participate. “Given the Cruz organization’s head start, he is better positioned than [Donald] Trump,” Del Beccaro said.

Assuming that those that are supporting Cruz aren’t standing by principals is what lacks logic.

Cruz is not the living embodiment of conservatism. He is a politician. One that has done a number of odious things that have turned off people for legitimate reasons.

You using absurd sweeping statements expecting that no “true conservative” could ever not support him is NO DIFFERENT than when the left pulls that crap with gender and race.

Conservatism isnt a plantation nor is it totalitarian. Thinking that it is in a cheap attempt at shaming people into voting for Cruz is a gross distortion of it.

“This site used to hate the Republican party establishment for not following conservative principles .”

And now the self righteous so-called true conservative Cruz flunkies now fully embrace the Gope and have pulled all of their criticisms.

Boy funny how Romney, Lindsey Graham, McConnell, and the Bush’s are now all you best buddies.

But its the Trump supporters supporting the establishment? You guys never cease to amaze.

You using absurd sweeping statements expecting that no “true conservative” could ever not support (Cruz)

Putting words in my mouth- another leftist tactic. I said no such thing- I was speaking about my own principles. Good grief.

The GOPe is already setting up the ground gamed for Cruz in California. That is one of the perks for submitting to the establishment.

I disagree completely. Most Cruz fans are just mad that he isn’t as far as they’d like. The reason trump resonates so much with voters is message. The topics trump talks about have forced the other candidates to talk about and that infuriates Cruz and supporters.

Leto, I really appreciate these updates from Cruz central.

It’s comical to watch the melt-down in slow motion.

No Cruz set up his ground game in all the States long ago. He is superior in intellect and planning to the guy who relied on free air time and fly-ins an whines when his lack of preparation becomes apparent.

The only thing you got correct in your post was “true conservative” which was what this site used to be.

It’s now some bazaar cross between Bennie Sanders and David Duke.
Trump’s daily changing positions make it hard for his supporters to hold any real principles.

Hey, phony populist billionaires don’t just come along every day.

It’s like meeting a unicorn... they want to hang around it, you know? You never know when that unicorn will deposit some skittles into your hand.

Who needs principles?

Lyin’ Ted and his surrogates are preaching hate Trump and ‘Never Trump’ every single day. What do they expect in return?

Trump will have at least 1200 delegates after California and will win on the first ballot. Delegates will be jumping on the Trump Train in droves.

Of course he does, being eGOP.

Strange that Lyin’ Ted’s superior intellect and ground game didn’t work in the SEC southern primaries or Florida. He lost the south.

Not really but you trumpkins are in fantasy land when it comes to the general election anyways.

A lot of delegates who will be voting for Trump on the first ballot will be Cruz supporters. THis is the result of having a ground game made up of grassroots supporters involved in the process rather than a reality show campaign run on the cheap.

“true conservative” which was what this site used to be.

IOW: “Waaaah people are supporting Ted Cruz, and that’s wrong!”

“It’s now some bazaar cross between Bennie Sanders and David Duke.”

Oh please expound on that. Let’s hear what things you hear here that really fall in those realms.

As far as I’m concerned, the only “fake conservatives” here are the Cruz groupies that have fully embraced the GOPe.
