Rubio to Levin: "The Only one who fits... is Ted Cruz"
Conservative Review ^ | 04/12/16 | CR Wire/Mark Levin

Posted on 04/12/2016 7:27:55 PM PDT by writer33

On tonight's episode of LevinTV Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) joined Mark Levin in a wide ranging interview. The two touched on a host of topics, including Rubio's future political plans, his foreign policy vision, and who he thinks should be the president.

When Levin asked Rubio who he would be supporting for the corner office, Rubio said that his delegates are bound on the first ballot. He added that on subsequent ballots, "I hope that they'll nominate a conservative." Rubio added, "the only one[presidential candidate] that fits that criteria is Ted Cruz."

Trump has come up short in this area (building coalitions) because he lacks the organization and the temperament. Trump seems to think he can win the nomination without a serious organization.

Well stated!

One final point. if it were Trump / Cruz, kasich still to need to do something harmless.

OMB? Dept of the interior ? UK ambassador ?

Postmaster? Fed Chair?

Something good , but harmless policy wise.

Without Trump/Cruz being put on the same ticket and the scott adams ‘attacks’ being directed to Hillary, we are in big trouble.

I think we are already in a dire situation. I really don't see how we beat hillary. If Cruz gets the nomination he can win over some of the Trump supporters, but a lot will stay home. If Trump wins the nomination a lot of conservatives will stay home, myself included.

What exactly is accomplished by burning a book? It is a tactic of Authoritarian regimes to intimidate and control. I find it amazing that Trumpers would associate themselves with that type of thinking. or maybe I don’t find it that amazing.

So right!

There is always another boat, another skyscraper....

Sage advice I always got when negotiating real estate. Trump is used to holding a big stack and selecting his deals worldwide.

If the situation does not work out — he walks or exclaims ‘your fired’

Well he ‘fired ‘ his competition . He likes to say over and over in his interviews how we started with 17 and now have three.

But he is now finding that he needs people like walker and rubio whom he has defeated and his ‘walk away ‘ power is much more limited in this milieu or environment.

I think ALL of you Cruz supporters are going to be STUNNED at Trumps delegates at the end of this!!! You are ALL counting your eggs before they hatch and Manafort and Trump are going to hold their gains very close to the vest, Trump ALWAYS says NEVER tell your enemy what you are up to!!! Manafort is a rabid pit bull, Trump IS not a loser, you folks are in for a VERY rude awakening!!!!

What we think is irrelevant. The VAST majority of freepers LOVE trump in highly personal and emotional way .

I know. I see it.

I think they are so invested in him they can't see the red flags all around him.

No one needs any correction from you Cornholio. If your garbage posts could be individually stripped from FR and printed off, they'd be prime kindling for any bonfire.

I don’t know, but I doubt it’s Trump funding him. He tends to donate to Dummycraps.

LOL Gee, I seem to recall that Trump donated to the guest on the show, rubio ;)

Job one for Manafort would have been CO.

Job two would have been to hold the line on Rubio’s delegates.

There is also IN WV and the PA situation. Lots of ground to make up in a hurry.

btw. Read my actual posts. I am more a unity supporter at this point than a Cruz supporter— even though I see his good points.

No use in fighting the ‘super trumpers’

We can only hope that all this energy is directed toward hillary and not dissipated beforehand.

It's why candidates are always careful about how they attack their opponent. They do everything they can to avoid making it personal. Trump was exciting in the beginning because he was so unusual. He attacked everyone and did it on a personal basis. A lot of supporters were so excited to see people they were so mad at finally attacked the way they would attack them. Now they are painted into a corner with a candidate they support who doesn't know any other way.
