Rubio to Levin: "The Only one who fits... is Ted Cruz"
Conservative Review ^ | 04/12/16 | CR Wire/Mark Levin

Posted on 04/12/2016 7:27:55 PM PDT by writer33

On tonight's episode of LevinTV Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) joined Mark Levin in a wide ranging interview. The two touched on a host of topics, including Rubio's future political plans, his foreign policy vision, and who he thinks should be the president.

When Levin asked Rubio who he would be supporting for the corner office, Rubio said that his delegates are bound on the first ballot. He added that on subsequent ballots, "I hope that they'll nominate a conservative." Rubio added, "the only one[presidential candidate] that fits that criteria is Ted Cruz."

Cruz will be getting his ass kicked for the next 6 states. You know, actual votes for Trump. Enjoy.

Great to see Rubio throwing his support to Cruz. His delegates could be a big help on a 2nd ballot at the convention.

Indeed...Win at all costs

Where do you come up with this?

Cruz seeking support from delegates if no one reaches 1237 on the first ballot is by no means nefarious. He is seeking the nomination of a political party. He is trying to build coalitions and allies. Trump has come up short in this area because he lacks the organization and the temperament. Trump seems to think he can win the nomination without a serious organization and that once he has the nomination everyone will just fall in line. Most people who follow politics know this is not going to happen and that’s why a lot of people are worried about losing the Senate and maybe the House if Trump is the nominee.

Just affirming your comment..Yes, we need Rubiio to help with second ballot...Whatever it takes....Cruz cannot win first ballot, so he will take delegates and support from whoever. Sorry he seems very insider to me.

Cruz has thrown behind GOPe like Bush, Boehner, Gay hoteliers, Gay hedge fund managers, whoever and whatever it takes...Rubio is fine...Even tho Rubio is for open borders...which is not Constitutionally conservative at all.

Tho I don’t believe “end justifies the means” to WIN WIN WIN to keep Trump out, apparently Cruz does, and most of his supporters do too...

Cruz cannot win through votes, he wins thru GOPe delegates rules...

I rather agree with JR that Cruz should be out of the race.

“Seems sketchy to me...Wonder who is funding his endeavors?”

‘He who pays the piper calls the tune’. It will become apparent soon enough. His masters will expect something from their investment.

just because some one can work the system and get delegates lined up for 2nd vote ( because he cant get real people to vote for him to win enough outright on his own) does not mean they are the best or even a good candidate for the actual job. Obama is proof of that. we don’t need a repeat with Cruz (500% increase H visas, look the other way on gay marriage while taking their donations, his helping trade bills come up to vote - even if he technically voted against them, handing out toys to illegals as they came strolling in, etc) Ted is a sham conservative and constitutionalist.

You can burn all the books in your tiny little library, but it doesn’t impress a learned person one bit. Books are sacred to the lover of freedom in that they represent free thought. The idea that burning a book would represent something good is ridiculous. It is childish and pathetic, very much like the petulant fool that you rubes have been following relentlessly for months, abandoning principles along the way and smearing those who refuse to abandon their principles and have cherished freedom and fought for it tirelessly for decades.

Right, Cruz is a globalist. Cruz is against borders. He is a plant. Never vote Cruz. He was handing out gifts to people breaking our laws. coming across the border. He is not a natural born citizen. He is a law breaker. We must bring about revolution to American politics.

“Levin is a professional conservative; he makes his living off it.”

reminds me of this:

“Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.” -Eric Hoffer

The business and racket end of “conservatism” is getting plenty crowded these days.

Levin is a sellout. A clown. If Rubio likes him its only because of amnesty. Buy guns.

Again, you can't see the damn forest for the trees.

You seek to enforce an actual fascist mentality over people, coercing them to NEVER burn a book, even if it is their OWN personal property, all because you deem such an act to be offensive, and you shamelessly hide behind the concept of 'freedom' to do so.

If you really were such a strong advocate for 'freedom', you would recognize that (one more time) individuals have the freedom to do whatever the Hell they want with their own personal property, and if that includes burning one or more of their books that THEY HAVE PURCHASED WITH THEIR OWN DAMN MONEY, so be it.

Take your fake 'freedom loving' prattle and stuff it.

Apparently you can’t read and/or can’t comprehend plain English. I never said you can’t burn anything. I only stated what burning a book represents. And it the symbolism of book-burning is fascist. It certainly isn’t enlightened. I didn’t try to prevent antceecee from burning her book. She is free to be a retard, but you are even more of one for refusing, like good Trumpanzee you appear to be, to admit the obvious appearance of that ritual of historic oppression of free thought.

Burn your zippy the pin head comics too while your at it and your midget transvestite pron too.

*a lot of people are worried about losing the Senate and maybe the House if Trump is the nominee*

I don’t know why people would worry. It wouldn’t matter if Mickey Mouse was elected Rep president. It’s just how it is. When a Dem president is in, Reps win house and senate seats. When a Rep president is in, Dems win house and senate seats.
from a dated NBC article :
“The Republican swing fit a historical pattern: The last three two-term presidents — Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush — all served their last two years with the opposing party controlling both houses of Congress.

And the party controlling the White House has lost seats in the House in the midterm election every time but twice since World War II.”

Trump may find that he has an unusually hard time finding a VP. I suspect that many of the people who might theoretically broaden his appeal and “bring the party together” won’t want anything to do with him. He’ll obviously, be able to find one, but I don’t think it will be considered quite the plum it usually is.

Interesting how Deceptive Donnie used to say “Nobody likes Ted” and basically how he couldn’t work with the Establishment. Now the narrative is Ted is scheming with the Establishment to rig the election.

Well, which is it?

I thought nobody like him?

Seems like there’s a lot of people who like Ted nowadays.
