The Case For John Kasich
NPR ^ | Apr 12, 2016 | Danielle Kurtzleben

John Kasich says the nation has a choice between "two paths." On one path is "fear" and "darkness." On the other path is — guess who? — a President Kasich.

In a speech on Tuesday, Kasich presented a stark choice between pessimism and optimism. The "path to darkness," he said, is a "political strategy based on exploiting Americans instead of lifting them up [that] inevitably leads to divisions, paranoia, isolation, and promises that can never, ever be fulfilled."

The other, he said, was about positivity: "We always roll up our sleeves and get to work when the going gets tough. And we have never, never, ever seen the American spirit fail."

Though he framed it as being about America's choices, it was pointedly about Republican voters' choices, with an intent to draw sharp distinctions between himself and his GOP presidential nomination opponents, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

Kasich and Cruz: The Dynamic Duo of Delusion.

One's been mathematically eliminated, the other will be in a couple of weeks, but they just keep dancing on stage. Somebody get the cane and pull them off, please.

Socialist Pravda npr likes this leftist Kasich guy No surprise there. Where did they find him? Oh well, it doesn’t matter. Leftists almost all parrot the same scripts. They’re quite interchangeable

I would be happy to have Kasich on the ticket if he will swing Ohio to the Republicans.

It is a smart pick. Kasich can help deliver OH a must win swing state and he is acceptable to the party which is part of the kissing and making up that always has to happen.

Just watched the CBS Evening News give Kasich a long softball interview. No doubt, he’s their guy.

I look at it this way.
I’m heading down to Houston on this super fast liberal Obama highway called I-45, I have a choice I can get off left on the Hardy Toll Road and go super fast and hard leftist to downtown Houston with Hillary or the Bern. OR, I can get off to the right lanes and go slow left with Trump/Kasich
OR make a complete turn around and head north toward Cruz/Walker Conservative territory.

The choice for me is easy but for you yep let’s keep going south

I was actually neutral on Kasich until he ran and I found out more about him. There is really no way I would vote for him.

Regardless of what Ryan said today, I still predict that the ticket coming out of the convention will be Ryan/Kasich. And that would be a very, very bad thing for the GOP.

I think if you have been paying attention Ted Cruz has pretty much shown you he is the naked ambition establishment road.

There is no case for Kasich.

Put a fork in him. He’s done.

The Case For John Kasich

There is no case. Unless it's lower case, then it would be john kasich. Even at that, there's still no case!

After we get the losing ticket that you trumpies have been wishing for which is Trump/Kasich, I will still be a winner by having my Senator Cruz trying his best to keep Hillary in check from his Senate seat
