I’m one of them. Feminists don’t help much.
There are countless reasons for men to draw back, as long as they accept the consequences of their choices. If you won’t breed, our government will just import another generation of youngsters from abroad. They’ve been doing it for years now, and those kids are subsidized by your earnings - which don’t have deductions for children of your own.
Maybe because the accused is not a white male in a frat?

And I can’t honestly say they’re wrong in doing so. Young women today are being taught the “strong woman” farce and that they don’t really need males except as sperm donors. I wonder how many young women watch modern action movies where slight females kick the crap out of multiple, muscular, much bigger males and think that's realistic.
Last night the wife and I watched this awful flick "Salt" with Angelina Jolie where she kicks the stuffing out of a horde of male security people. Any woman who thinks she has a chance against the average male is severely deluding herself. All young women should be prepared, armed if possible, whenever they go out alone in possibly dangerous parts.

The people who are trying desperately to get their children into the United States aren’t going to be getting any better futures for their offspring as they think they will. Even those will soon be indoctrinated with the foolishness that our society has become. A Liberal education is a death sentence because it leaves out, distorts or compromises the basic common sense that is necessary for survival, not to mention salvation.
As for American culture; that was over awhile ago. In a few decades, the Liberal historians will have obliterated it. So, the conversation come back to where it began. There are not enough males who are able or willing to take on the roles of protectors that The Almighty meant them to be; neither of women, children, freedom or country. That seems to be a worldwide problem, not just an American one. If it weren’t, all the “immigrant” males would be fighting for their own country, not invading ours.

Many aren’t looking for a better future, but a better present with indoor plumbing, free food, rent, healthcare, schooling/daycare, and a life of leisure.

This killer seems much like the one from Charlottesville, and I know from my and my daughter's experience in Athens, GA.
Lock your kids in their bedrooms if you want.
The truth is that we are living in an increasingly hostile and dangerous society. Having had three kids in college recently and having both professional and personal experience on various campuses of major universities, I do not believe your theory.
Sure, there can be crimes, even horrid crimes, on campus, but what happened to this girl could just as easily (and perhaps more so) have happened in a commercial or residential area.
It is absurd to blame this on the college. Rather, it is the fault of the crazed and evil teen who did it.
The word is “alert”.

Perhaps there are numerous rapes/murders/home invasions in your hometown, to the equivalence of larger college towns; I don't know where you live.
I didn't lock my daughter in her bedroom. She got her scholarship, she decided where to go. But, sorry, AThens, GA has a very "tolerant" local government, and higher levels of social services than other towns of comparable size. Heck, there's also a public housing project right across the street from the freshman dorms.
So, we'll just have to disagree.
When the victim is in the legal profession or a politician, execution is swift. Otherwise the killers do tend to linger for decades.
Except it happened on campus and it often happens on campus, capiche? The perps go where the victims are. Young, attractive ladies.
This is why campuses cook their crime statistics.
