Hillary Clinton says Republicans are living in a world of “fantasy and hope” if they think she’ll be indicted over her use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state.

Legal experts agree that charges are unlikely. But Matt Lauer of NBC’s “Today Show” says Republicans tell him privately they hope Clinton will be taken out of the election equation in coming months because of criminal charges. …

Hillary is GUILTY of multiple FELONIES.

The only debate is how politics will allow the legal case against her to proceed.

Legal experts agree that charges are unlikely. But Matt Lauer of NBC's "Today Show" says Republicans tell him privately they hope Clinton will be taken out of the election equation in coming months because of criminal charges.

Legal experts do not agree on anything of the sort. But to the degree that legal experts predict that there will be no indictment, much of that conviction comes from the belief that it will be politics not the rule of law that will stay the hand of the Attorney General to protect Hillary Clinton from indictment.

In the next breath, the author turns reality on its head implying that it is the Republicans who are playing politics by hoping Hillary is removed from the political campaign by an indictment.

Note, no Republican is named who allegedly harbors this desire. Just one more illustration why it is noble to despise the journalist class.

Even if she were indicted and convicted, how long do you think it would take to make a deal with Obozo that his parting list of pardons would include her?

Agree. The Clintons have been getting away with being unethical at the least since before Clinton was governor of Arkansas. They know where bodies are buried, or have paid the right people, or both. We’ve been watching this kabuki theater for decades. It’s a distraction-one of many-from what the political elites, the uniparty, are actually up to.

The uniparty was worried for a while that the people might actually take the reins from them. But it looks to me as if they think they’ve gotten all that back under control. They’re not sounding as panicky now as they were for a while. Things must be back on track for them.

All anyone can ask for is that the justice system pursue and act on the truth of the situation.

We may ask all we like, but look at who is in charge. Are they likely to act correctly when it may convict one of their own? They'd have to be dragged, kicking and screaming, into a courtroom. And they should be, on charges of malfeasance.

She’s right. Anybody that thinks the law applies to her is harboring a fantasy.

Who are these legal experts who don’t think she will be indicted?

The ones who are part of the regime's Just-Us department?

All of that I agree with, but Clinton is wrong to say those who want a serious investigation are in a fantasy world.

There are real issues in her actions playing fast and loose with national security.

I know for a fact that a member of the military would long ago have been calendared for trial.

I agree with that. She’s had to refocus on Sanders precisely because of his success. The fact that lately he’s raising more money than she is raising eyebrows.

Hillary is on very thin ice right now. Here’s hoping Sanders does well in New York. I don’t think Cruz has the moxey to do much with Hillary. Trump on the other hand would relish going toe to toe with the hildebeast. He’s already proven that by nailing Bubba as a sexual predator when Hillary tried to pin the misogynist label on him.

The Panama Papers will help in a peripheral way to take Hillary down. We need something more blatant that the public can’t ignore.

She’ll never go to prison. Her only options are the presidency or death. You need to appreciate who she’s worked for to understand her predicament. They will not accept the liability of exposure and potential prosecution. It would be a mess.

It’s why criminals seek and remain in office for life. It’s not just the ill-gotten money, it’s the immunity from prosecution. Without the political immunity of federal office Hillary dies.

Just one more strike against the establishment if she goes free. Between rigged elections and Hillary being above the law....our political system will be in chaos by next year.

I’m sick of hearing what an upstanding, no-nonsense, apolitical guy Comey (FBI) is.

He ain’t gonna do nuthin’ except string this out and then hand it over as another “there is not enough evidence . . . blah blah” like the Dan Rather CBS panel.

Concur, fantasy, like many of the other fantasies expounded here daily; wishful thinking

************
The political heresy of Trump running with his own money really gave both sides a big scare. If nothing else, his candidacy shined a bright light on the influence of big donors.

The establishment is a little more comfortable now that they have Cruz gaining some ground on Trump. Of course they will discard Cruz like a burned out cigarette butt.

I will give Cruz some credit, however, for doing more to stand up to the establishment than any of his other supposed representatives of the people on Capitol Hill.

The reason she is so SURE it won’t happen is because she’s already cut a deal with Zero.

Fix is in, she'll plead guilty to a misdemeanor slap on the wrist and maybe pay a token fine. Then all her minions will join in a chorus of “this is just old news, can't we put this behind us?”
