Breaking: Cruz Camp Sends Out Letters to Supporters on How to Harass and Steal Delegates
The Gateway Pundit ^ | 4/7/16 | Jim Hoft

The Cruz camp can’t win enough votes at the ballot box so they’re stealing them at the state level. Such good Christian conservatives.

Cruz supporters are asking bloggers to stalk the delegates in Colorado.

"Dear Influential Conservative Blogger,

I found a list of names and phone numbers for Colorado delegates, of which a huge number are unbound. I did reverse phone searches and came up with a list of mailing addresses for a lot of these unbound delegates. I wrote letters to them saying that Cruz has been most consistent about re-negotiating the Iran deal, and that they should vote for him.

Perhaps you and your followers can do the same. Attached is a list of unbound delegates for Colorado, and their mailing addresses. I also noted their phone numbers in case you think that’s better. (Personally I don’t. Some of them might be on do not call lists.)

Regards, Alex S."

Donald “Little Hands” Trump

Hehe.

What is it with Cruz and his supporters, can't they come up with something original?

Cruz either, always following Trump, saying "me too".

I never said I wasn’t supporting a conservative. I said Cruz supporter Romney was not supporting the nom. If Romney is good enough for Cruz he should be good enough for FReepers.

What part of UNBOUND does that clown Hoft not understand?

Hoft is just trying to fan the flames under the pot til it boils over and burns everyone.

Talk about propaganda. He says in the title that it's being done by the "Cruz camp"....and then gives some supposed statements by people with no full names, no links to back up his claim that they are even showing up anywhere beyond his imagination.......and no proof of any ties to Cruz beyond Hoft "claiming" they are "Cruz supporters".

I think he's making stuff up to do damage control for the crap that Roger Stone is doing that's hurting Trump.

Pathetic

Will you vote for Cruz if he is the nominee?

“This is the FIRST year that I’ve seen or heard about delegates even being contacted”

Of course, depending on your age you may not remember. When is the last election when we had a contested convention? The 70’s. Forty years ago. Last time, in 2012, Romney had the majority of delegates all wrapped up by the Texas primary, and I felt like I had no say in choosing a candidate in the primary. All we have seen at National conventions since 76 were coronations and just a formality because we went into them with the majority already being wrapped up.

Contacting unbound delegates in a contested convention is all part of a well-planned ground game.

Did he not vote for the Corker Bill, YES.

In my world a YES vote means support. So had he voted NO it would have been 97-1.

As Jesus in his day stood ALONE and and voted against the tyranny of the day, Ted failed the test and voted YES.

And Ted supports open borders, Ted supports TPP.

Basically whatever the Bushies want Ted supports.

Jim Hoft appears to be a drama queen.

Hoft is embarrassing himself. His web content is ALL TRUMP all the TIME. The headline is total lie (#Lyin'HOFT) as nothing in the letter suggests harassment unlike Mr. Stone who called on Trump supporters to Stalk and harass delegates. Still waiting on Hoft's headline on that one.

Trump supporters like Hoft love the no prisoners attitude of Trump except when employeed by Cruz. Cruz is beating Trump at a game that Trump is supposed to excel at.

Which is it? The “Cruz Camp” or “Cruz supporters?” When did random actions by supporters become part of the official campaign?

Can we say the same about the Trump supporter that called Michelle fields and threatened to slit her throat if she didn’t drop the charges in 3 days?

It was nice when words had meanings. I miss those days...

“Are FReepers now against capitalism and free markets?”

Yes they are. That is why so many are supporting massive tariffs.

Oh wait.....

“To take what isn’t yours to take?”

Yeah, like using Eminent Domain to steal someone’s house and build a golf course!

“Unbound delegates are Trump’s property”

So long as they are bound on the first ballot, then they are bound. When they become unbound then they are beholden to vote their own conscious.

You don’t seem to understand the definition of “unbound.” I’d recommend that Trump get his ground game to ensuring the unbound delegates support his candidacy.

You are delusional. He can't even win the popular vote within the Republican Party nomination process.

Look.. Trump will win a plurality and maybe eke out the required 1,237 delegates. But there is not one inkling of data.. ANYWHERE.. that shows he would win a general election. So, if you're still under the foggy-brained mindset that he somehow can... all the delusion rests with you. Your guy is detested among the electorate.

Cruz has 25 years of public speaking experience, he is a skilled Liar/Lawyer, and that is about all he has ever done,it is obvious he has not done physical labor, as his pot gut shows...

He no longer impress me since I've followed him now for eight months or more...he has been working for the office of POTUS for years...

He wants power and position and money...nothing more...

well Donald Trump has all those and he doesn't need this position, but he wants it....BECAUSE IT IS OUR COUNTRY AND HE SEE FIRST HAND HOW IT IS AND HAS BEEN DESTROYED...

HAD ENOUGH OF PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS, TIME TO TRY A PRIVATE CITIZEN WHO HAS MADE HIS MARK IN LIFE...

VOTE TRUMP WE OWE IT TO OUR FUTURE.

I’d vote for Ted in November if he’s the GOP nominee, but he does seem to work overtime to help perpetuate the popular image of GOPers as insular, smirking asshats.

Open and honest Ted was an illusion - a carefully crafted one that his handlers believed every low info voter would buy into - seems they’ve snagged a bunch of them right here!

Teddy the tool is so obvious, as it continues to be revealed how deeply he’s entrenched in our sick political game of screw the voter, his Christian armor is tainted.

Stabby was out there lamenting that all of America is doomed, or something to that effect. Who let him out of the box??

Teddy the trickster - what he won’t do to fool people.

“It is not just unbound delegates he is going after. He is also going after bound delegates for the second vote.”

The vast majority of bound delegates for the first ballot are UNBOUND for the second, and subsequent ballots. Hence, they are UNBOUND for the second vote.

If Trump has earned 1400 delegates in the primary, as you are forecasting, then he will win the nomination on the first ballot. Those are the rules. If that happens, then this garbage article is irrelevant.

If no one breaks the 1237 threshold, then no one will win on the first ballot and the delegates become unbound and open for either candidate, including Trump. So, again, this article is irrelevant.

Thank you for the breath of fresh air. I appreciate your postings. I am a Cruz supporter, but I suspect that the 2 of us could find some common ground for the general, regardless of the nominee...
