Breaking: Cruz Camp Sends Out Letters to Supporters on How to Harass and Steal Delegates
The Gateway Pundit ^ | 4/7/16 | Jim Hoft

The Cruz camp can’t win enough votes at the ballot box so they’re stealing them at the state level. Such good Christian conservatives.

Cruz supporters are asking bloggers to stalk the delegates in Colorado.

"Dear Influential Conservative Blogger,

I found a list of names and phone numbers for Colorado delegates, of which a huge number are unbound. I did reverse phone searches and came up with a list of mailing addresses for a lot of these unbound delegates. I wrote letters to them saying that Cruz has been most consistent about re-negotiating the Iran deal, and that they should vote for him.

Perhaps you and your followers can do the same. Attached is a list of unbound delegates for Colorado, and their mailing addresses. I also noted their phone numbers in case you think that’s better. (Personally I don’t. Some of them might be on do not call lists.)

Regards, Alex S."

“They didn’t “find” anything. The list of names and addresses was delivered by the GOPe.”

I’m pretty certain that the Colorado GOP gave that list to everyone. I’ve seen it for my county. I’ve seen it on the Internet for each Congressional district and for the whole state.

More from the article:

And— Cruz supporters in St. Louis sent out this letter describing how they plan on stealing delegates in Missouri on Saturday.

Dear Cruz supporter and true friend of freedom,

Saturday is caucus day in Missouri to select the first round of delegates to ultimately go to Cleveland.

As you probably know, the first vote in 5 of the Congressional districts are pledged to Trump and in the other 3 to Cruz.
HOWEVER, on the second ballot should those delegates at the Congressional District Caucuses on April 30 and the State Convention on May 20-21 in Branson be Cruz supporters, and we do this across the nation, Ted Cruz can win the nomination on the second ballot.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Attend the local Caucus in your local county/township. Go to the State Republican Party web site (https://www.missouri.gop/election-2016/#find) to find location, arrive an hour early, and seek to identify the Cruz supporters. Even better, take all your Cruz friends and family with you and be a delegate to the Congressional Caucus and the State Convention.Whoever has the most numbers and elects their slate will prevail.

THIS SATURDAY 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. is the next critical time to help Ted. Hope to see you at a victorious state convention in May,

Bev E.

You missed the important response:

The argument they are running now is that Cruz is smarter than Trump. It needs to be countered on the high ground of Christian morality, of loving your neighbour, not being smart a*ses to your neighbour and cheating them.

Lyin' Ted is just so busTED. Funny about Ted and New York values. New Yorkers are in your face about what they think, not skulking around behind your back like one of the cutpurses that the last great New York mayor Giuliani through into prison.

You mean WIN, earn delegates!

If Team Trump is not trying to win unpledged delegates they are falling down on the job

Alex S wrote: "I found a list of names and phone numbers of CO delegates..." This information is given to Cruz bloggers, asking them not just to blog, but to contact these delegates. It isn't information from the RNC or official Republican channels (in which case it would be available to all candidates).

It's quite low end. As I've posted several times, a core of US values is fair play. This is manipulation of the process through Cruz's "do what it takes to win" game.

Whatever happened to open and honest Ted?

I guess it sounds more “authentic” for the email to make it sound like the Cruz campaign staffer researched all the delegate info themself instead of simply stating they got the list from the GOP.

So says the election season FR troll, IA David....who only shows up during election years.

I guess we here at FR are just not worth your time all of the other years.

Look, we get that you’re a die-hard cRuz supporter AND an admitted IA delegate.....here to push untrusTED....but, to support the outright coercing, calling, cajoling of delegates is beyond the pale.

This is the FIRST year that I’ve seen or heard about delegates even being contacted/harrassed, that I can remember.....and, to this widespread of a level....tells me that Team cRuz feels the ONLY way they can *win* is to go after DELEGATES and not VOTES.

twisTED.

To take what isn’t yours to take?

Unbound delegates are Trump’s property and Cruz is walking down the aisle just stuffing them in his pockets.

Ted, you have no chance of being the Republican party nominee. They’ll throw you under the bus just as soon as you are no use to them anymore. Try to maintain some dignity.

This is how the Left does things. The “will of the voter” is just nice window dressing.

Sen. Ted Cruz totally supported the Iran nuke deal when it could have been stopped, he voted FOR the Corker Bill. Now that it can’t be he is opposed to it.

Ted Cruz is a liberal in the family Bush model, he served under Bush, Neil Bush is now his campaign Finance manager, having joined his staff the week following the Sea Island confab. Neil Bush was involved in the Silverado Savings and Loan scandal where over $1.6 billion dollars was stolen and taxpayers were left on the hook.

Well phrased, no sarcasm tag necessary. Working to convince delegates to switch is about as basic to politics as baby kissing and envelope stuffing. Trump’s people ought to be doing the same instead of whining about the other guy trying to win. It’s almost as if he’s never run for office before.

Cruz has no integrity. He is a very slimy person. Unfit and not eligible to lead this country.

Versus a Real Estate Developer? Have you ever dealt with a Real Estate Developer?

Reader Carrie had this to say about Cruz and the GOP establishment’s delegate theft.

1. There is no evidence that Cruz stole anything.

2. There is no evidence of the GOP establishment stole anything.

3. There is no evidence of any theft of any kind.

This is from a cRuz supporting email that I received ....

.....Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign has tremendous momentum and we need your help to keep winning more and more delegates for Cruz.

In the past week, Cruz was victorious in Colorado winning 6 out of 6 delegates available in the first round of delegate selection in that state (the remaining delegates will be awarded this weekend and some observers say a Ted Cruz sweep is possible).

Cruz also won 18 of the 25 delegates up for grabs in North Dakota.

And of course Cruz scored an impressive double-digit victory in Wisconsin. Now there are two states that are coming up in the next few weeks we must focus on.

NEW YORK: We have two challenges in this state. First, we must hold Donald Trump under 50% - because if Trump gets more than 50% he automatically collects all the state’s 95 delegates. Second, we must secure victories in some of the state’s more conservative congressional districts, so we can earn some delegates for Ted Cruz. The New York Primary is April 19th.

PENNSYLVANIA: Polls show Ted Cruz running much stronger in Pennsylvania than New York and there are 71 delegates up for grabs in this state, but there are unique challenges here as well. 54 of the delegates are selected based on the vote for delegates on a per-congressional basis, and we will have to educate Cruz supporters the names of the pro-Cruz delegates in their congressional district. So we’ve got to identify the Cruz supporters and then communicate the names of the 3 pro-Cruz delegates they should vote for in the voting booth. The Pennsylvania Primary is April 26th.

They have all PAC-paid hands on deck!!

Trump should run all of these emails/etc as ads...to show the voters what is going on ‘behind the scenes’.

The people who are P&M(ing) about this are the same people who are ok with Dems and Indies jumping into open primaries to help select the Republican candidate (along with Dems who change party affiliation). The overwhelming majority of Dems having absolutely no intention with staying with Trump in the general.
