From the article..."Regardless of whom you support for the GOP presidential nomination, ask yourself whether what Team Cruz is doing is moral or “sleazy”? There doesn’t seem to be any question that it’s legal. But setting aside legality, which hinges on the complicated and arcane delegate rules that vary from state to state, the question is: Is it moral?"

No. It is not moral. Cruz is supposed to be a "moral, Bible believing Christian Conservative" with non-NY values. How can Cruz supporters cheer sleazy moves like this???

“From the article...”I am troubled by this. The Cruz campaign is going from state to state, after each primary election has been decided by voters, in efforts to turn Trump delegates into Cruz delegates: Do you believe this is right?”

NO. Why is Cruz stealing like this???

Just look at right now. I suspect Cruz’s internal polls were bad so he did what Ted Cruz does, and turned to dirty tricks, enlisting the help of the radio talk shows and pollsters friendly to the GOP to influence public opinion. We shall see, but consider the following:

“An American Research Group survey turns past polling on its head. It said Trump leads rival Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, 42 percent – 32 percent, with Ohio Gov, John Kasich at 23 percent. Other polls had shown Cruz with a similar-sized lead.”

Did ARG not get the memo?

If Trump does win WI, heads will be exploding but not liberal ones - it will be the self-proclaimed conservative wizards of smart who have been telling us how Cruz has run the most competent campaign of all time.

Until Donald Trump came along and rewrote the rules.

From the article...”The Gateway Pundit blog gives the same story a more harshly partisan slant, headlining its post, “Dirty Ted Cruz Moves to Snatch Up Trump’s AZ Delegates – Supporters Cheer Sleazy Move.”

Why are Cruz’s supporters cheering these sleazy moves???

Before you say it is “immoral” you should at least be able to argue how and why you consider it so.

To me, it is moral. The delegates are awarded to the winner, but that isn’t in perpetuity or there would never be a candidate who wins the majority and therefore the primary.

Whomever wins the nomination must be able to lead people and pull in votes or they are lame ducks before sitting in the oval office.

It's not a moral issue, but it's damn sure sleazy.

The filth oozes out of every pore of Ted Cruz.

Every state has its' own set of rules.

Each campaign will try to use those rules to their advantage, if they're smart.

All three remaining candidates are assiduously courting those unbound delegates, and their success could determine whether Trump, who has a wide lead over Cruz in the delegate count, sews up the nomination on the first ballot in Cleveland, or whether the convention turns into a contested free-for-all.

For Trump, maximizing his pledged delegates as the remaining states cast their primary votes could make all the difference. Despite his lead, most analysts calculate he’ll end up just shy of the 1,237 delegates, based on his prior performance in earlier contests and the electoral profiles of the states still to come in the campaign.

Barry Bennett, a former Ben Carson operative now in charge of Trump’s delegate strategy, told NBC News that the campaign has already rolled out a massive effort to reach unpledged delegates and secure commitments from them in advance.

“You’ve got 40 days between the last primary and the convention to go woo the appropriate number of unbound delegates,” Bennett said. “You still have a chance to put together 50 or 75 delegates to win on the first ballot. That’s Phase One.”

“...Cruz, exploiting deep opposition to Trump among grass-roots Republicans,...”
What the hell does that mean? Trump won 2:1 over Cruz in AZ, but ‘grass roots Republicans’ oppose him? WHO voted for him in such disproportionate numbers if not the grass-roots. Obviously not the GOPe.

“exploiting deep opposition to Trump among grass-roots Republicans”

Now that's an interesting rationalization especially in place like Arizona that was OVERWHELMINGLY in support of Trump

Trying to define the voters as not being “grass roots makes it "moral" to subvert the vote ”?

OP was apoplectic about Carson’s religion a few months ago. When Carson supported Trump, Carson was suddenly Mr. Dreamboat.

Not all Trump supporters are trumptards. But many are guilty of trumptardiness.

“Just reading a few pages into Saul Alinsky’s leftist playbook, “Rules for Radicals,” one encounters repeated confirmation that the very heart of radical “change” is keeping the populace angry, encouraging their grievances, stoking their resentments, and making sure they are continually upset. That is the primary psychological dynamic of “community organizing” – and since 2009 America has been led by a community organizer in chief and longtime master practitioner and instructor in Alinsky’s Far-Left agitation methods.”

Stoke’em Donald! Stoke’em! You, too, BFAC. LOL

remember rule #5...“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)

Post it here if you wish, I just figure the usual supects will ignore it and whine until the actual proof is made public (which it sounds like will be soon). Not that it will convince them after it is...

So...negotiation and trying to get the best deal and cut out competition when the rules allow it is “immoral?” Mm...Kay.

I guess you haven’t read any of your hero’s books then.

You better believe it’s moral. It’s also very smart. The only reason it’s “crooked as hell,” is because Mr. Scorched Earth didn’t think of it himself.

I call Alinsky tactics on this “Cruz can’t do this and be a Christian” bs.

You support someone who tried to hire the attorney working for the lady he was trying to take a house from by eminent domain, wanting that lawyer to fight for property owners against a competitor’s eminent domain case (creating a conflict of interest which would have possibly caused the lady to lose her home), and you want to lecture me on whether my candidate is moral?

What Cruz is doing is the very definition of what Trump is fighting against. Trump is out in the open, winning the hearts and minds of voters, telling us the truth, engaging us in the discussion. Cruz is trolling behind closed doors to fill in delegates who misrepresent their intentions.

Considering that, why would we assume that a Cruz presidency would be anything but the same old corrupt DC game? Think of all the deals Cruz is making with those delegates who go along with his scheme.
