With Sharia Law breaking out all over Europe I'm sure there's a corresponding drop in Russia's export of its most valuable asset; vodka.

HA! Thought I was going to say oil, didn'tcha?

If you ever have some free time search "Russian dashcams" on youtube. Some of the most disgusting...and *funniest*...videos you'll ever see.

I say disgusting because you know that vodka is the "fuel" for all of them.

a children’s book titled “How The Brave Rouble Defeated The Cunning Dollar”.

On its cover, a bear in a traditional Russian embroidered shirt excitedly clutches a shiny silver one-rouble coin as a cackling Uncle Sam figure, aided by a pair of skunks, prepares to deploy a stack of dollar bills rolled up into toilet paper. Luckily, the story goes, the bear discovers a magical rouble-making machine, burns all the dollars and reunites the Soviet Union under a single currency.

Do they have one about Russia defaulting on its debt, throwing LTCM into crisis (well, they sort of did it to themselves, but...) and leaving us with “too big to fail”?

Let's see... Russia supplies 45 percent of the EU's hydrocarbon fuels... price of oil dropped by 2/3rds... hmm, I'm stumped.

The text is a brilliant too - I've tried to retell a part of the story:

On how deceitful skunks harmed the ruble

This task was given to a predatory bald eagle called Eagle Fred, and an army of deceitful skunks brought up by Wicked Witch of the East helped him with that. The U.S. President at the time was a small man called Uncle Tom. That was him who assigned Fred to spoil the Russian currency what would have made the Russian people buy things with dollars. Russia’s last chieftain Browscarrier had died by that time and President Spottyson had succeeded him. He was a gullible man; he believed that if a U.S. President smiled to him then his intentions were favourable for Russia. And while the presidents were smiling to each other, as many as forty skunks crawled through the Russian-American border.

Eagle Fred tasked them to disable Fyodor the Bear who was the Russian Treasurer. And the skunks succeeded because they had been instructed by old Wicked Witch of the East herself, not by anyone else. As you know, bears adore honey more than anything else in the world. This is true as for our, earthly bears, as for the bears from the planet ‘Raccoon’s Little Eyes’. Fyodor the Bear had an apiary of forty hives. The good bees made forty different sorts of honey for him, like banana honey, pineapple, orange, and even watermelon. They begrudged nothing for the Bear – he took good care that no one would have offended or spoiled the ruble. And the forty skunks sneaked to the hives, made a muck of the honey with their disgusting stink, poisoned the Bear’s favourite dainty.

The book by Evgeny Sivkov “How The Brave Rouble Defeated The Cunning Dollar” is not the only book in Russia that thrives in a country with no trust in anything.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikolai_Starikov is a best selling author that mixes truth and fiction. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/aug/14/hitler-was-an-anglo-american-stooge-the-tall-tales-in-a-moscow-bookshop

You may reed more at his website https://nstarikov.ru/ and http://lit.md/nstarikov.htm (in Russian) one of his books is avaiable in an English version http://lit.md/files/nstarikov/rouble_nationalization-the_way_to_russia’s_freedom.pdf ( 304 pages) He is denying the content of the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molotov%E2%80%93Ribbentrop_Pact and have a very distorted view of the history of other items. His recipe for “Nationalization of the Ruble” A separate domestic currency and a currency for foreign trade, has been tried during the Soviet days in many countries and we know the outcome of that.

To understand what is happening in Russia it is good to read this type of strange views about the world as Russia is filled with conspiracy ideas.

Starikov is just another jerk. As for Mr. Sivkov, though, is a certified auditor and an author of 70 books on accounting and taxation.

Sivkov has his own party http://www.pppnr.ru/ the Party of Russian Taxpayers. He has a very unrealistic idea of a new tax system. http://www.pppnr.ru/news/nalog-s-platezhej-—dlja-silnoj-rossii/
