Someone said tin foil is good for defending against an EMP attack. I’ve got three rolls of heavy duty in the basement so we’ll be ok here.
EMP is just one threat among many to our grid.
The power grid is the ultimate target, the weapon (or natural event, or accident) that takes it down is irrelevant. The outcome is what will matter.
So what do you think would happen with an EMP event? The sun could potentially cause one. Do you see any mass duality cation at all?

The more likely event and will probably happen is our grid being hacked down. Its only a matter of time. Even if the NE grid went down life would be a biotch for all of us on this side of the country till they got it back up. Plan to live independently for a period of at least weeks or months.
