Pepsi chief executive joins criticism of North Carolina law on LGBT rights
the guardian ^ | 4/2/16

The chief executive of Pepsi, a company with roots in North Carolina, has written to Governor Pat McCrory to ask him to repeal a new law preventing specific anti-discrimination rules for LGBT people over public accommodations and restroom use.

In a letter hand delivered to McCrory on Friday, PepsiCo head Indra Nooyi called the law inconsistent with how her company treats its employees. Nooyi also said the law was undermining efforts to advance North Carolina’s interests, and she said she hoped McCrory would consider repealing the law when the state legislature reconvenes later this month.

Tsk. Our modern soda companies no longer have haloes.

Maybe generic sodas are in my future, as long as I have sodas.

And will the NBA, Pepsi and other businesses survive on the lgbt;oyeoawh 1% when those who have a moral compass decide they would rather have morality upheld and not this lgbt cult?

Maybe one side effect would be that parents would be more careful about minors. Can’t just send little Johnny or Janey in there.

There are ways of compensating for a lot of evils.

It’d be nice to see a company that is for all of their customers, not just the less than 1% homosexuals. With the business models of today, I don’t know how companies like this stay in business.

Sorry, but I can’t boycott Pepsi or Coke unless I find another substance that works better at removing rust from my bumpers. (I haven’t put their poison in my body in decades, simply because the stuff is awful for you.)

Pepsico can suck ass.

Go to their plant and use any restroom you want.

Pee all over the seats and leave.

It’s the cult of the minority. Nobody cares about the majority anymore. It’s like the majority has become powerless in this screwed up system we’ve got. Nobody consults the majority anymore. Then the numb nuts scratch their heads wondering why voters are so pee’d off. They (the media, progressives) have no right to admonish us for being angry. They’re the ones who need to be taken to the woodshed.

“I am pretty sure ‘intergenerational’ and ‘interspecies’ sex is next on the progressive agenda.”

It is next, without a shadow of a doubt, and it is ongoing now. You see the obsession people have with their dogs already, (single women with large dogs always raise my brow) and this bathroom business is getting the ball rolling for predators to predate with impunity.
Also, the correct terms are paedophilia and bestiality - I wouldn’t recommend adopting their euphemisms.

Alan Watt (not Watts) has been talking about this agenda for years. His site is www.cuttingthroughthematrix.com, and if you are awake, nothing there will shock you.

The NCAA president, Mark Emmert, said he had spoken to McCrory about the law, making clear that if it remains in place it will affect the state’s chances to host major college athletic events.

The NCAA also probably cut a deal whereby University of North Carolina (University of No Classes) would not be punished for enrolling students in fake classes for 18 years.

the NCAA is a joke.

Yes. For the people who think that switching to Coca-Cola is a "boycott", think again.

I can't think of a major multi-national corporation that doesn't worship at the altar of political correctness.

Well, in the West anyway.

PARTICULARLY about homosexuality.

It's beyond me just WHY they involve themselves in social issues in the first place.

Just sell your product, and STFU.

“...PepsiCo head Indra Nooyi...”

This naturalized Indian woman has been the CEO of Pepsico since 2006 and was instrumental in the election of the monster Hussein through her personal financial support and by allowing the use of Pepsico marketing resources to help Hussein secure the election. (Ever wonder why the Hussein campaign logo was similar to the design of the Pepsico logo?) She is now and has always been part of the international anti-white, anti-US, globalist cabal that is responsible for the hollowing out of the US economy through the support of unrestricted immigration policies. She is politically similar to Walmart President Rosalyn Brewer, who recently raised a controversy by saying that Walmart suppliers hae too many white men in their executive ranks and needed to add more women and blacks to get Walmart business. Nooyi at Pepsico is why I have not bought any Pepsi product or eaten at any Pepsico-owned restaurant chain (Taco Bell, Pizza Hut) since the election of Hussein the monster. Brewer at Walmart is why I do not shop at any Walmart outlet any more. These people may be wealthy but not because of any money they’ve gotten from me.

Turnabout is fair play.

There should be some way to wangle a surtax on companies that are boycotting NC. Say a 10% tax on all their products and services sold in the state. But at the same time, *not* taxing their competitors.

So, for example, Pepsi products would have a 10% tax, but not Coco-Cola products. Even a company like Pepsi would feel a considerable sting as its sales nosedived in the state. Likewise their investors would be displeased at losing money because the Pepsi CEO shot her mouth off.

It would take some legislative mastery to craft it in such a way as to preclude a successful court challenge.

I’ve worked for this company for 30 years. Used to be our goal was to put a quality product out at a reasonable price and produce a return for our stockholders. Today it’s, let’s be green, diverse and inclusive. Oh, and if you sell some product, that’s OK too.
BS in this company is waist deep since this broad took over.

God's Word is being left out of these "debates," but it's really what's being attacked.

Send Bibles to Pepsi, the NCAA, politicians, etc., with a note politely explaining that.

Pepsi has been a very big supporter of every radical leftist cause out there. I have stopped consuming Pepsi products (and there’s lots of them out there, not just the soft drinks) for a long time. Most of them are bad for you anyway.
