Concerns About Paul Ryan Emerging Out of Ted Cruz-Created Contested Convention
Brietbart News ^ | April 2, 2016 | Julia Hahn

Posted on 04/03/2016 8:59:08 AM PDT by Vince Ferrer

In recent weeks, there has been increasing discussion about the possibility that House Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)56% could emerge out of a brokered convention as the Republican nominee if the donor class is successful in denying Donald Trump the requisite 1,237 delegates.

Just as Paul Ryan’s ascension to House Speaker represented a total repudiation of the GOP electorate by GOP lawmakers, Ryan’s selection as the Party’s nominee would similarly represent the donor class’s silencing of voters and voters’ views on immigration, trade, and foreign policy that have transformed the country and its role in the world.

[...]

Although Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97%’s political ideology is in line with Ryan’s brand of Washington think-tank conservatism—whether it’s Cruz’s record of pushing for expanded foreign worker programs or offshoring trade policies—party leaders seem to prefer Paul Ryan’s presentation, and are likely to use Cruz’s gains to ultimately throw delegates towards Ryan. The media is correct in that voters are currently facing an election between Trump and anti-Trump, but the media has failed to articulate the policies differences between them.

Cruz sucks because he has sold himself out and has become a meat-pippet for the establishment. I am getting tired of looking at the waxy hyper-expressive eyebrows d lancing over his girly face. It gets worse when he opens his lipless mouth and starts spewing all the crap that the GOPe leadership has been pushing down outlet throats since the first Bush. Enough.

Trump will do what he promises. If the wall is being build and the left uses the courts to stymie him the fence will keep being built regardless because he is not looking for the easy out that our current leadership of surrender l-monkeys always take.

It amazes me that anyone thinks Paul Ryan could be a viable presidential candidate. He’s stiff, boring, has an irritating voice and he added nothing to the 2012 ticket. He’s mentioned strictly as someone who would continue the globalist’s policies of open borders and one trade deal after another that undermines US sovereignty.

Cruz is nothing but the spoiler and vote splitter the GOPe had been praying for since it became obvious that Jeb had no chance.

The plan is to nominate Jim Thompson at a brokered convention. This Paul Ryan thing is just a distraction.

This idea that Paul Ryan is going to try to get the nomination just supports my belief that Trump and his supporters do not have a firm grip on reality.

Why then did both Ryan and Romney file recently with the FEC as candidates for 2016?

If they do that it tells you they care more about stopping Trump than saving the Republican party.

The issues Trump has raised aren’t going away when Trump’s career is over.

He is merely the current spokesperson.

Not fair using real math instead of old new math combined with core math.

Kasich already needs over 100% of the remaining delegates to win.

We need another candidate. But not Ryan. We need someone who will secure the border. The picking seem to be slim but Rand Paul and John Thune are the only possibilities that I can find who by their record shows they could do that. Paul has an A grade from Numbers USA and Thune has a respectable B.

Excuse me Shit 4 Brains...we have a candidate now please STFU!

You people are delusional and have the class of a petulant fifth grader who didn't get a Ring Ding in his lunchbox.

Cruz was never GOPe. He was reviled by the McCain/McConnell crowd.

And so what if Bush supports him now? Trump gets mad and gets nasty by taking things to a personal level immediately with anyone who dares speak out against. Why the hell would Bush throw his support to Donald?

If Donald wins the Presidency, I think there is going to be Donald Buyers Remorse.

In their fanatical obsession for ideological purity, with varying amounts of Trump hatred mixed in, the kamacruzies take aim at a “contested convention.” There, according to the rules of course, the front runners delegates will be stolen and their boy will be crowned the winner.

And then according to several week old hypothetical polls, of an event 8 months out, their boy will win the general!

How that happens without the people who stood in line for hours to see Trump and vote for Trump doesn’t enter their minds. And then there’s the democrat billion dollar smear machine and that festering NE story.

The precious rules the kamacruzies are so fond of, are arbitrary and have mostly been rendered moot, when candidates dropped out when they couldn’t win a majority.

If Trump needed 90% of the remaining delegates I’d be calling for him to drop out. Guess I’m expecting too much for the kamacruzies to show as much class.

Yes, Felito and company need to come to terms with his loss.

While they’re at it, they may want to come to terms with the idea of his political career being over.

It’s 1976 all over again, but this time with Trump instead of Reagan. If the party bosses win you’ll be seeing President Hillary in January 2017.

Trump isn’t failing, the whole frigging world is against the status quo.

Cruz we find out is dirty and a proxy for Goldman Sachs.
Kasich is being a spoiler.

Trump is trying his best to get 51% starting with 17 candidates, but Trump is a danger to the direction of Cruz’s Wahington Cartel and the GOPe’s whole way of like.

Cruz will get paid off but not selected.
Trump will go third party.
The GOP will continue eating rear end materials from the Democrat party for little bits of power or positions.

Meanwhile this all leads us to a probable economic depression and agree Greece like financial state, but Cruz and the GOP won’t care. Cruz will be paid off and the GOP will have a few more years of comfort before the people kill it off to a point something else takes over it.

Vote Cruz you lose, we all do. Sorry but that is now the truth.

Okay, if that’s how you see him fine.

He has 752 delegates and Cruz has 455.

If he’s a loser, what is Ted?

If Ted wanted what was best for the U. S., he wouldn’t be trying to turn a floor fight over to the GOPe.

You can’t pick someone like Trump, because the GOPe will never let anyone remotely like Trump be the nominee.

Cruz is bringing new life to Jebito’s campaign.

Yep, Ted's got Rove and others plotting and scheming with renewed hope for Jeb, and some other non-Trump, globalist candidate.

How many candidates did they have running the primary from the start? 15? 20? It seemed so many, and they still have to pull this crap.
