The motivations of those starting the torture narrative were and are nothing more than active support for the foreign enemy.

Anything that aids and assists the enemy, no matter who that enemy may be.

Standard leftard tactics.

Redefine meanings of words to suit their narrative.
Rely on an idiot and mendacious press media to support that narrative.
Rely on useful idiots too stupid to think beyond the bottom of their own bellies or any further than the reach of their own gonads to pick up and further broadcast the narrative.
Rely on the quisling cuckservatives to fall to their knees and open wide to appease those pushing the narrative.

And all in support of either domestic cultural destructionism and/or active support of a foreign enemy.
