To me, the moment of truth for Mr Cruz comes at the convention. When he gets there and it becomes obvious to him that: 1) he can’t get the nomination outright; and 2) those GOPe’s that have labeled him a “whacko bird” are most certainly my not going to allow him to win a brokered convention, what will he do? If he has the principles he has professed, then he should not allow anyone but Trump to walk out of there with the nomination and throw his delegates to Trump.
One thing I know about this campaign is that between Trump and Cruz are running as the “eff” the GOPe candidates. They have gotten a large majority of the votes. To allow a nominee that runs counter to the clearly expressed will of the party is outrageous. The party must be torn from Carl “socialist light” Rove’s grasp.
If it is not, then I sincerely hope that then the headstone of the GOP is crafted it includes a large statue of Rove’s fat, arrogant face.
totally agree.
Cruz and Kasich know they will neverget enough delegates anmd so why are they there?
Because they want to stop Trump. That is what the establishment wants.
the problem for cruz is that he is so blinded right now by his bitterness for Trump that he doe snot see that the establishment will just throw him out when he has done their dirty work.
So in essence his voters will be shocked, but the reality is they voted for this mess.
If this had been McCain , Romney then the establishment would be pushing to rally behind the front runner.
Have you ever seen the GOP fight this hard against the left , because I have not?
Cruz was done after we voted in the super Tuesday in FL etc.
