I am so sick of both these candidates, that I may sit out the election. They are both an embarrassment to the party & Country.
No loss alice, New Jersey will go for Trump anyway.

Hey - SHUT UP, or Cruz will sue. :)
At least he is "consistent." He supported the terrorists in Chicago and now Palm Beach.

Where’s the evidence that the allegations made in this single tweet are accurate?
Did Ted Cruz threaten legal action against Twitter? If so, where’s the reference? What’s the actual quotation from Cruz regarding this matter?
Bottom line: What are the facts?

He’s threatening twitter.
But not National Enquirer.
?
To: winoneforthegipper
Is he also suing the Nation Enquirer? Twitter is just a messenger.
To: mkjessup; Durbin; Resolute Conservative
Where is the legal action against the National Enquirer Ted? Cmon, what are you waiting for?
I think it rolled under Amanda Carpenter's bed, next to Ted's suitcoat. :)

“Cruz campaign has threatened legal action ...”
At this point, this is just an accusation. There is no proof that Cruz ever made this statement. There is no evidence.
Another fake tweet, it seems.

Unfortunately, we’ve been conditioned to think “top down” when it comes to elections.
While President is important, don’t sit it out because of that one office. Keep in mind that there good candidates elsewhere on the ballot who need support and we’re going to need them to help keep the person at the top of the ballot in check when the election’s over.

Until a shred of evidence shows up actually supporting this article, those who continue to try to propagate it are likewise guilty of “bearing false witness against thy neighbor”. Also, even Trump’s own spokesperson, who was one of the accused, called the article ‘100% false’ and ‘tabloid trash’.
Why no lawsuit?
Elected officials have to do a lot more than prove that such an article is untrue. To win a lawsuit, they must ALSO prove things like: malicious intent on the part of the writer, that the writer KNEW that the story was false at the time of publication, and that real damages occurred. ONLY proving that the story was false is not enough, due to laws protecting the freedom of the press. Plus, by the time such a lawsuit could exonerate Cruz, the primaries would have long been over.

Yes it does, rumour is not slander. Slander is presenting rumour as fact.
