It doesn't need to necessarily be until November. Just hold out on an indictment until after the Convention, when Hillary has been nominated and selected her VP. If she's indicted then and it looks bad, that basically gives the Democrats the ability to give the nomination to anyone they want (perhaps tipped by her selection of VP), rather than Bernie.
Give it a rest with the MANUFACTURED POLLS.

Trump is a much better candidate than Romney...Hillary has enthusiasm problem with Democrat voters...and the fact that some polls have shown Trump will get up to 20% of the democrat votes. Hypothetical polls are some of the weakest in terms of validity. They take scenarios which do not exist, and have no way of adding the many things which happen to change those numbers on the way to when the scenario actually comes about...if it does. I find it very telling that the only real polling Cruz supporters can point to are the weakest, not realistic polls...there is a reason for that. Of course, in any normal election cycle their candidate would not even be considered relevant. He is not in the running for winning the nomination unless he can steal it at an open convention...now that is principled...
She doesn’t even need to be indicted. All the FBI has to do is recommend she BE indicted. I think at that point, Obama convinces her to drop out so the Justice Dept. doesn’t have to worry about indicting the party candidate. Then they can pick someone else, and he can quietly make the Hillary indictment go away. No one will care if she’s not on the ticket.
The Donald started right off this am going after “lyin Ted Cruz”. He’s getting worse if anything. The scorched and salted earth campaign keeps chugging along.
I'm starting to believe that's his only purpose.. he has hopes hopes of helping and protecting the establishment hold onto their political power.
Maybe they just have her pick Biden as the VP.

I see that in a post on either side and I skip the rest of the ‘argument’
Ted has 5.8 million votes or 43%
Donald has 7.8 million votes or 57%
Ted will also have the support of the majority of delegates, even if Trump wins on the first ballot.
We are setting up the scenario where either Ted’s delegates or Trump’s walk out of the convention .
If either group does not show , Hillary wins with women voters , who are about 56% of the electorate.
So we destroy our deep bench of 17 candidates just so Hillary can win? And lose the Senate too boot?

These numbers are very volatile and can bounce the other way quickly. There is no need to get desperate yet.
To quote Dr. McCoy on Star Trek: You can't keep hacking at a man when he's down. Like Cruz or not. He's got more guts than other Republican in the Senate with the possible exception of Mike Lee. Cruz should be Trump greatest ally in the Senate if nothing else.
Instead, the great dealer seems intent on alienating a substantial portion of his base. We've seen that happen before.
The fact anyone would vote for Hillary hardly speaks well of this nation. We are mice in a land of midgets.
