Ted Cruz has been accused of having at least five mistresses, including CNN anchor and former Cruz employee Amanda Carpenter. The media claims Cruz has denied these accusations.
Cruz is lying, according to multiple trial lawyers and experts on persuasion. His lies are hard to spot, because his lies are also truthful.
Consider what Cruz said in response to the news story:
“Let me be clear this National Enquirer story is garbage. It is complete and utter lies. It is a tabloid smear and it is a smear that has come from Donald Trump and his henchmen.”
Let’s look at what Cruz did not say. Cruz could have said, “I have never cheated on my wife.” Why didn’t he?
Consider the oath witnesses take before testifying. “I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.” Isn’t that redundant?
Ted Cruz is accused of having had an affair with five women. He could say, “That’s a lie. I did not have five mistresses.” If Cruz did have one mistress, then he’d have told the truth (he didn’t have five) but not the whole truth (he had one).

What is Carpenter’s explanation for why her son is holding a “Hi daddy” sign? Are we sure it’s not a photoshop? And that girl really does have Cruz’s weird slits for eyes. What does Mr. Carpenter look like?

As far as your third comment, that is perfectly correct: BUT...
a) if the photo is her, it does mean she has taken selfies of herself seated on a bed in a hotel room, without her wedding ring, and with what appear to be condoms next to her
b) if the photo is her, and it is NOT photoshop, please consider both the photos which I posted in #38, and in addition, the photos posted in #63 this thread. Assuming no pixel-by-pixel manipulation, some of the facial features on the children *do* bear a resemblance to those of Sen. Cruz.
Her ears stick out, too. And so do the little girl's.

So now Trump’s pal at the National Enquirer (the publisher) runs a sleazeball story attacking Cruz as having affairs and the only source quoted is Trump’s advocate, Roger Stone. WHO IN THE SANDHILL IS CIRCULATING THE RUMORS — none other than Roger Stone. The source of the attacks on Cruz keeps coming back to Trump — what a doubly sleazy guy.
