April 2016: The Temple Of Baal Will Be Erected In Times Square In New York City
End of the American Dream ^ | March 22, 2016 | Michael Snyder

Posted on 03/27/2016 12:51:44 PM PDT by Zakeet

I realize that the headline of this article sounds like it must be false, but it is actually completely true. The Temple of Baal (also known as the Temple of Bel) was a world famous landmark that was located in Palmyra, Syria. In August 2015, this temple was destroyed by ISIS, and most of the world recoiled in terror at the loss of a "cultural heritage site". In an attempt to "preserve history", two exact replicas of the 50 foot arch that stood at the entrance to the temple will be erected in April 2016 in Times Square in New York City and in Trafalgar Square in London. Needless to say, a lot of people are quite disturbed by this. In ancient times, child sacrifice and bisexual orgies were common practices at the altars of Baal, and now we are putting up a monument of worship to this false god in the heart of our most important city.

[Snip]

Ritualistic Baal worship, in sum, looked a little like this: Adults would gather around the altar of Baal. Infants would then be burned alive as a sacrificial offering to the deity. Amid horrific screams and the stench of charred human flesh, congregants – men and women alike – would engage in bisexual orgies. The ritual of convenience was intended to produce economic prosperity by prompting Baal to bring rain for the fertility of “mother earth.”

The natural consequences of such behavior – pregnancy and childbirth – and the associated financial burdens of “unplanned parenthood” were easily offset. One could either choose to engage in homosexual conduct or – with child sacrifice available on demand – could simply take part in another fertility ceremony to “terminate” the unwanted child.

Mecca should be the first target. Hit during the inaugural address.

Thanks to the terrorists, that is the only way anyone will see what those historical ruins looked like now, unless ISIS is defeated and the ruins can be at least partially reconstructed-the “real” ones can’t be visited, since they are rubble now...

ISIS destroys historical landmarks-something only fanatical savages do-civilized people can disagree with the ideals, religion, etc of a civilization without destroying their historical places-only barbarian savages do that.

I think it is past time for civilized people to get pissed, get together and bomb those savages back into Neolithic times-since they are pretty much still living in the 7th century now, it would be a short trip-but don’t bomb Mecca-I don’t think their buildings and history should be destroyed-that would make us savages, too...

IIRC, the Israeli’s were supposed to have wiped these places out a very long time ago. God has a different perspective on “historical” heritage places.

Nothing evil about the bricks and mortar (or whatever it is constructed out of). Like the Colosseum, these things can be repurposed.

Hey-no reason to destroy history-just bomb around the buildings-save the historical landmarks for tourists and archaelogists...

Essentially, he is fully agreeing with the people who blew up the original in Iraq.

So how are you with the Pyramids and the Sphinx, the Parthenon? Should those be torn down too? Idiotic. They are doing this to flip the finger to ISIS, not to start a new baal worship trend.

Morons.

Good catch.

Baal is basically Satan.

Obliterate all traces of them. Especially their mosques. Leave no trace. This is war, muslim vs. non-muslim.

Any historic or current edifices or monuments which were or are associated with evil practices or pagan worship should be razed, yes. I realize this will limit opportunities for archeological and architectural field trips in the future, not to mention change the skylines of San Francisco and other cities dramatically.

Actually it is Muslim versus non-Muslim, and other kinds of Muslims. Just like 500 years ago when it was Christians (Catholics) against other kinds of Christians (Protestants of various hues). Let’s hope it doesn’t take over 300 years for them to grow up.

You fit in well with ISIS. Destroying archeological sites is you essentially endorsing idols. You think there is some kind of magic there.

In 2009, Obama had Satan's Altar (Pergamon) set up to celebrate his ascendancy to power:

So, nice bookends, eh?

That line of thinking seems illogical to me-after all, we all know that SUV’s don’t start themselves up, go down the street and run over people-and guns don’t just walk out and kill people-we know that a human brain and hand-and bad intent-is required for bad things to happen, no matter what liberals say...

Buildings don’t make war-people make war-if the crusaders had been into destroying history without a trace, we’d be without some of the most beautiful architecture in the Eastern world, whether we agree with the ideology of the people who built them or not-I don’t like revisionist history, do you?

If the rest of the world-at the behest of hand wringing misled sympathizers-would not have given those goat-shagging barbarians an ounce of credence or respect in the last couple of decades, we would not have this problem in the first place-they should have been left alone in their 3d world hellhole until they figured out what it meant to be civilized.

That is my opinion-you are entitled to yours, and I respect your right to that-I just do not agree with you on razing historical landmarks for any reason-the buildings are just inanimate objects-it is humans who are either evil or not...

Thank you for pointing that out-and if someone really believes there is an evil spirit in a building, the remedy is having a rabbi, priest or other clergyman perform a blessing or even an exorcism-it is done to houses where something bad happened in the past all the time, even out here in BFE...
