The president of Emory University has spoken to demonstrators who said they were frightened after someone wrote 'Trump 2016' in chalk around campus.
Students at the Atlanta school, which has an enrollment of more than 14,000 claim their 'safe space' was violated when the messages appeared on sidewalks and buildings.
Jim Wagner, president of the Atlanta university, wrote Tuesday that the students viewed the messages as intimidation, and they voiced 'genuine concern and pain' as a result.
He acted after student government wrote to him and slammed the university's response, prompting a meeting that led to protests. Now administrators want to track down those responsible for the controversial markings.
But some commentators on the university's student newspaper website told the students to grow up and accused them of being babies.

What a sad commentary on today’s American youth. I.S.I.S. has children who are much younger and smaller in size who are ready to decapitate these students given half the chance and yet they are scared of a Trump 2016 sign.
These spoiled children need a hard lesson in the reality. But as usually the liberal idiots in charge of the university will coddle them and give them a pacifier.
Unfortunately this is not just one college or group of student. We are raising a nation of wimps.

These students are fibbin. The pain these demented liberal students had is from the keg parties and pot they did this past week.
I also worked for a University, but I think there is something else going on here. I think it is a pattern of “never give up, never surrender” in the minds of these ideologues. Whether by outside training or just what’s been drilled into them since birth, I believe it is a recognition in them that tells them “when you are in control, KEEP control.”
When you win one concession from the administration, clamor for more - create new reasons for the administration to capitulate. Fuss, holler and stomp your feet until they acquiesce. Once a parent cedes control to his child, the game is over and the child turns out how he turns out. Not much can be done.
