70 years ago 18 year olds were storming the beaches of Normandy. Now 18 year olds need safe areas on University campuses so they won’t see words that offend them.
They consider words that offend them (in this case "Trump 2016") to be equivalent to physical attacks against their person that must be dealt with accordingly by authorities, but decry the authorities when they handle actual physical assault (depending on the color of the humans involved). They demand their "right to be heard," which to them means silencing all opposing thought, and they don't for one second see the irony or the hypocrisy of it. And they wrap up their friggin BULLSHIT in queer-race-gender-hurt-feelings-social-justice-climate-justice-butthurt, pseudo-intellectual, half-baked, peer-reviewed, professor-approved theorism, neatly presented in an academic journal.
Those of us are disagree, well...I once had a smug, smirking little piece of shit inform me that the 1st amendment doesn't apply to me because my backwards, repressive attempts at thought don't rise to the level of "social quality" required to be considered ideas. Convenient, eh?
History cycles, but I don't think humanity has ever been this far down the rabbit hole. They little shits have no ability to perceive reality. All they understand is warped social justice psychobabble. God help us.
