Donald Trump Finds New City to Insult: Brussels
NYT ^ | 01/27/2016 | DAN BILEFSKY and CLAIRE BARTHELEMY

Posted on 03/22/2016 3:45:37 AM PDT by Mensius

LONDON — He incensed Paris and London by saying that some of their neighborhoods were so overrun with radicals that the police were too scared to enter.

He raised Scottish tempers by threatening to pull the plug on his investments there, including his luxury golf courses, if British politicians barred him from entering Britain.

Now Donald J. Trump has upset the already beleaguered people of Belgium, calling its capital, Brussels, “a hellhole.”

Asked by the Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo about the feasibility of his proposal to bar foreign Muslims from entering the United States, Mr. Trump argued that Belgium and France had been blighted by the failure of Muslims in these countries to integrate.

“There is something going on, Maria,” he said. “Go to Brussels. Go to Paris. Go to different places. There is something going on and it’s not good, where they want Shariah law, where they want this, where they want things that — you know, there has to be some assimilation. There is no assimilation. There is something bad going on.”

The explosions at the airport will be blamed on him, not the Muzzies.

I can’t stand Donald, but when he’s right, he’s right. His comments will be a huge win for him. He complains about the Islamization of a country and the next day they’re rocked with Islamic terror attacks? They’re helping him prove his point.

Europeans spit when they say the name Brussels. It represents a mandarin class of overpaid and untaxed high living busy body bureaucrats lording over the rest of the continent and the British Isles. Even the locals resent the impact these expatriate overlords have on housing prices and traffic. So anything Trump says disparaging Brussels will have most of Europe nodding in agreement.

Thank you. Now we can get back to more important things. Are there any talent shows or football games on?

On FOX they reported at least 28 dead. FOX had a long interview with D. Trump. Great interview. None so far with Teddy Cruz, Kasich, or Paul Ryan who wants more Muslims to come to the US.

Donald will not need a CIA. He is his own intelligent intelligence service.

CBS Stroy from January 28, 2016 - MOCKING DONALD TRUMP:

Trump:"You go to Brussels -- I was in Brussels a long time ago, 20 years ago, so beautiful, everything is so beautiful -- it's like living in a hellhole right now," he added. While it's true that parts of Belgium have been a hotbed for terrorism recruiting, Brussels is a major European city that is home to NATO and it's the capital of the European Union. It's also a popular tourist destination, known for its architecture, chocolate and waffles, among other things.

Trump's comment about the city inspired quite a backlash on social media, with Brussels denizens using the hashtag #hellhole, to defend their city. A Brussels alderman, Geoffroy Coomans, called him a buffoon on Twitter, and said he'd campaign against him.

Many posted picture-perfect scenes of the city, showing it to be anything but a #hellhole.

Greetings from the #hellhole @realDonaldTrump and please #callbrussels if you're so curious. pic.twitter.com/hmHRFbszKB

And there were other responses, too.

Proud of our #hellhole We forgive your ignorance&invite @realDonaldTrump to see Brussels is beyond your imagination pic.twitter.com/kAv4ZK9jJo

” Mr. Trump argued that Belgium and France had been blighted by the failure of Muslims in these countries to integrate.”

Trump is SUCH AN IDIOT. Of course they’re integrating - why just this morning the new arrivals REMOVED THE CARBON FOOTPRINTS of 35 (and counting) people in Brussels. And don’t forget, Global Warming is the BIGGEST THREAT facing humanity - and slowing population growth is the single best way to do it.

Now we may not necessarily agree with their methods, but Belgium is now a MULTICULTURAL society and it is incumbent on all of us to learn to TOLERATE their customs, providing they are working towards the same goal.

In January, the MSM finds yet another reason to ridicule Trump over his radical and racial views.

The timing is unfortunate but it's nothing Trump hasn't been saying for a while.
