Could a Trump Nomination Make Arizona a Swing State?
Time Mag. ^ | March 21, 2016 | Sam Frizell

Both Republican and Democratic strategists say a Donald Trump nomination could put the normally rock-solid red state of Arizona in play in November.

Though the Sun Belt state has gone for Republican presidential candidates by wide margins since 2000, advisers from both parties see putting the real estate mogul at the top of the ticket as throwing that into limbo, thanks to a growing Hispanic population and a large bloc of moderate women.

I do not believe this. Just more anti-Trump propaganda to dissuade Arizona R primary voters from voting for Trump.

“Trump will take AZ.”

I agree. I think he will take AZ both in the primary and in the general election.

We’re going to see some crazy stuff from La Raza and other militant Mexican groups, I’m sure. Will produce a backlash which will help the GOP in the border states.

This is the second article I’ve read that claims a solid red state could go blue because of Trump.

I do not buy for one second that states like Utah, Arizona, Texas, Idaho will vote Hillary over Trump. Trump will carry the solid red states.

In an early sign of unrest in the state, Republican Sen. John McCain is now in a statistical tie in a poll against Democratic Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, who is running for his seat, after years of blowout victories over Democratic challengers.

They think McCain's problem comes from a state trending blue. McCain's an establishment hack. When will the media catch on.

OK.

what are your reasons, because i’m seeing trump get clocked in every general against Hillary and even worse against sanders.

are we just spouting again like we did in 2012, like “Obama’s rallies are empty” and “everyone I know hates Obama” and so on and so forth.

we are going to have to change a LOT of minds between now and the election and get more than the 8 point win Romney got among men last time.

the women voting for the alpha alpha male comment?

Obama won women by 12 percent, and they turned out more than men.

So let’s get realistic so we can win this time.

If you think trumps is going to take a state that some pundits are saying he might not, give at least ONE reason for God’s sake so we can all reset easier.

We never learn here. Every time we are SURE 51 percent or more of Americans think like us.

no. We have to PERSUADE them to...blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Jewish vote, white college kids under 30, white single women under 50...all of those groups.

Yes. Sure. Every state in the country is going to vote for Karl Marx instead of Donald Trump.

Guess I’m giving up on Trump now! The only hope is Cruz!

I can’t believe how many people fall for this shameless transparent media BS.

You are absolutely right. Trump is going to get crushed by Hillary in November. Senators like John McCain are going to be taken down with him.

But that is ok because the most important objective for the 2016 should not be the White House or control of Congress but rather the complete and utter destruction of the GOPe-led Republican Party.

The Republican Party of today is so inept and so corrupt that it should go right into the garbage bin of history.

“Those moderate women would vote for the Alpha Male and that’s Trump!”

And apparently a lot of gabachos y gringos here don’t know how popular alpha males are in Mexican culture.

Viva Jefe Trump!

Time is on Trump’s side. The party will eventually unify once the RINOs realize that Trump is the nominee.

I find it funny though — the one guy I refused to hold my nose and vote for is the odious fellow that is trying to stop an inevitable Trump nomination. FU Mittens.

First they got Trump losing Utah. Now Arizona. Is Idaho and Wyoming next? Nebraska, Kansas and the Dakotas?
