"[... When he mocks Hillary, as he does in a new ad that shows her barking, it may backfire. Due to his inability to let go of his chew toy Megyn Kelly, Trump drew a remarkable rebuke Friday night from Fox News after he called for a boycott of her show and tweeted that she was “crazy” and “sick. ...]"

“Lol, irony can really be ironic. You go on about his hair, and then lecture us that people don’t like personal attacks. And if you wanna talk about hair, id direct you to Cruz and the creepy greased down look.”

I’m not making a personal attack on Trump for his hair. He has great hair. But you are acting creepy, greasy, and slimy. Those words just flow so naturally from your mouth because of the all the nastiness bottled up inside you has to come out like oral diarrhea. And yeah, I can do it better than Trump. So sure, I’ll be glad to humor your sense of irony.

I do not care about Trump’s hair. If I had his money and media presence I would probably spend a fortune trying to get his hair too. (Although I am a bit younger and still have okay hair.) If Trump’s longterm positions had been as great as his hair, I would have supported him over Cruz from the get go.

My point is not about his hair. My point is about his approachability when he is wrong about something. His hair is similar to the emperor who had no clothes.

Yeah, Trump may have better hair than Cruz. He may wear better suits. He may be more charming and a better comedian. I don’t care about any of that stuff.

Trump needs to get back to the issues. Instead he insults Cruz the same or worse than Obama, Reid, Pelosi, or Clinton. Cruz has been a solid conservative on many, many issues. Trump’s insults fail to recognize that and are an insult to people like me who support Cruz.

I still am open to supporting Trump, but his across the board approach to dealing with EVERYONE in his way is repulsive. The real reason Trump calls Cruz a liar is very obvious. It is because Cruz is a threat to Trump. It has absolutely nothing to do with any honesty issues on Cruz’s part. And this is transparently and fundamentally dishonest on Trump’s part to play this game. It is why his negative ratings are so high.

Negative ratings have to do with offending lots of different types of people. Trump offends all the right people. That is to his credit. Unfortunately he also offends some good people too.

As I have said many times, he could have wrapped up the nomination by now. He chose to fight Cruz on a personal level rather than policy level. While he calls Cruz a liar and nasty, he praises Planned Parenthood for being wonderful. A guy as smart as Trump should know how vile, filthy, and nasty Planned Parenthood is. They are the biggest serial-killing murderer of babies ever. They kill babies for money and sell their body parts. No amount of mammogram referrals they make can make them “wonderful”.

If Trump blunders his way through the general the way he is doing the primary, he just might coronate Hillary as the next president.

Get back to the issues, Trump. Save the nasty comments for the enemy, not political rivals who you may need to partner with soon.

In less than two weeks, Trump and Cruz will have more than 1257 delegates together. That should insure that a non-GOPe candidate will get the nomination. With so much bad blood between the two camps, it does not seem possible for this to be resolved before the convention.

And that’s a crying shame. Because a Trump-Cruz team would steamroll any other candidate.

I haven’t read an article from Dowd in quite some time. Sounds like she is as pleasant as ever.

“So you didn’t hear cruz suggest Trump has ties to the mob, or to raciest, or incites violence against blm....?”

Never heard him say anything implying or stating that Trump is a racist. Kindly provide examples.

And on the inciting violence issue, Cruz simply pointed out things Trump has said. Trump did say those things. Trump gave a rock solid defense for his comments and also made it very clear he did not want people to get hurt. That is fair criticism, and NOT a personal attack.

I did hear insinuations about mob ties on releasing his taxes. He did not outright accuse him, but I agree that this is inappropriate. So, I will give you that one.

Cruz has been a well camouflaged NWO slick forked tongued politician. He is now seen for what he is by millions. I do not want him anywhere near the White House. He belongs OUT of politics just like his buddy Rubio. He’s shown loud and clear he’s against the Constitution which is the law of the land.

“BS, we no longer have any use for the gopE or their supporters. We’ll win without you.”

Stop being such snotty little fella. You will win absolutely nothing without Cruz supporters. Unless of course you are really hoping to have another Clinton white house. Then, sure, you might get what you want without the millions of us who prefer Ted Cruz before any other candidate.

The GOPe do not want Trump or Cruz. They just hope a brokered convention will give them an opportunity to appoint some other candidate. And people with your attitude will allow them to. And NO, Cruz does NOT have an obligation to give up now and support Trump for the good of the party. Cruz supporters have just as much right to ask you and your candidate to drop out and get behind us.

At one time Trump suggested he might pick Cruz as his VP. Later he was calling Cruz nasty and liar. He and his followers obviously think they do not need Cruz supporters, or perhaps he is just like the GOPe has been for decades now. Like them, and you, conservative voters are taken for granted. You think we will just keep holding our nose and voting for the least worse candidate. That did not work out the past two elections.

So stop your nasty lying accusations of calling me a GOPe supporter. It was my candidate who stood alone against the GOPe. Your preferred candidate has nicer things to say about Planned Parenthood than the most conservative candidate in the race.

Time for you and your preferred candidate to start treating conservatives with a little more respect. Otherwise, get used to hearing the phrase “Madame President” with the Clintons back in the white house. Because, while I will almost certainly vote for whoever the Republican nominee is, many conservatives are just too tired of compromising.

So, I will give you that one.

You miss-understand me, I don't give a crap about you or what you think. You can take your vote, that you somehow think you can draw like a sward, and shove it.

Dunno about Trump, but Dowd was most certainly dumped, and still very, very, bitter about it.

“He belongs OUT of politics just like his buddy Rubio. He’s shown loud and clear he’s against the Constitution which is the law of the land.”

Perhaps the reason you joined Free Republic less than a year ago is because you were too young to get involved in politics sooner. Or maybe you have some other reason. But some of us have been around long enough to observe what people DO and not just what they SAY.

In Texas there are a lot of GOPe which are really just Democrats who know that Republicans win elections in their home state. So many Democrats just switch parties. They do not switch ideologies though. And they pay lip service to the party platform.

Cruz is as far from that as they get. The GOPe tried to get David Dewhurst to replace Kay Bailey Hutchison when she retired. We beat him in a runoff thanks to thousands of tea partiers and people like Sarah Palin. Cruz went to Washington with a lot of promises to fulfill. He kept his promises.

I do not agree with Cruz on everything. I think some of his international trade positions are not the best. I think a lot of people are fooled into thinking they are sellouts though. His positions on international trade are still pro-American. I do not agree on a few issues like GMO food labeling. But, overall, Cruz has a proven track record as a conservative.

Like HELL he does! The Trade Deals he supports are sellouts of American Sovereignty and the destruction of America’s Manufacturing Basis as well as Against our National Security. He has voted AGAINST the Constitutional DUTY of Senate Advise and Consent thereby giving MORE power to Obama. He PRETENDED to support Audit the Fed, but when it came time for a vote he was nowhere to be found! His personal records are sealed. He misrepresented himself when he ran for the Senate, was elected and seated before he ever owned up to being a CANADIAN CITIZEN. The Constitution is ignored again as it was with Obama. Cruz is NOT eligible for the presidency. He was and is in favor of amnesty. He simply hides behind typical lawyer doubletalk. His backers own him and he is intricately tied to G.S. and the Cheap Labor Express as well as other NWO elites. He deliberately misrepresented his financial ‘sacrifice” in order to run.
His backers are all THE ESTABLISHMENT and/or such as Romney and Glenn Beck. There is more but that should suffice for now.

I’ve been involved in politics since working on Eisenhower’s reelection so don’t give me the song and dance about being a newbie in politics. I joined Free Republic at the insistence of a long time Freeper FRiend.

Cruz belongs OUT of Politics. I’ll say it again and again.

“You miss-understand me, I don’t give a crap about you or what you think. You can take your vote, that you somehow think you can draw like a sward, and shove it.”

Oh, I did not think of that. How persuasive. Cruz supporters prefer to arrive at their voting preferences using logic and reason rather than your approach which is to emote. Get over yourself. You are not saying anything new or original than the same stupid drivel you have been saying for months. I already knew you despised tea-party conservatives. Nothing new. Already knew you thought you could freely insult us and attack us because you thought you do not need our votes. I don’t know how you think you are going to win, but of course thinking never was a strong suit for you. I guess if you just work up enough emotion, your candidate just HAS to win.

No, contrary to your claim, I perfectly understand. You open your mouth and prove beyond ANY possible doubt you are devoid of any logic or reason. You are not merely foolish. You are spectacularly foolish. You lack the basic math skills of a kindergartener. And you gleefully broadcast your foolishness for everyone to see.

I have seen you blathering and ranting for months on this forum, attacking Cruz and his supporters. You are always posting something NASTY. Nasty, putrid, filth is ALWAYS coming out of your mouth.

If you didn’t care, as you claim, you would not have replied. Only I am not stupid enough to throw my vote away just because mathematically challenged dolts like you make it very hard to support your preferred candidate.

You and your idiocy do Trump NO favors at all. He would be far better off without your support. I have talked to many people who simply will not vote for Trump because of people like you.

I am not one of them. But it will be very hard for me to convince conservatives to support Trump in the general after all the stupid, lying, nasty attacks that you and your ilk have been making.

So, yeah, I still will support Trump if he wins. But it will be in spite of you. And NO, I will not shove it. I will use my right to vote. I don’t have to follow idiotic commands coming from someone who does not have the basic math skills to realize Trump cannot win without the conservative vote.

And if people like you can’t get it through your thick skull, then get used to president Hillary. Just don’t blame me. I tried to warn you.

Doesn't have to. She should put it in an ad of her own. Work on not being such a wooden Indian.

You should write talking points for Democrats. You are great at it.

Planned Parenthood has been having some major PR issues as well. They could probably use your help too. With all the little babies they kill and all the little baby body parts they sell, they could probably afford to give you a big, fat salary.

I mean, since your talking points seem to be primarily about money, and have little to do with social conservatism.

You might have to be comfortable hanging around people that chant “hail Satan” when someone like Cruz tries to fight for the rights of the unborn. And you might need to drink a little more to silence that voice in the back of your head that tells you when you are wrong. But, other than a few minor inconveniences, you could probably fit right in.

Because they sure do want Cruz “out of politics”. Almost as much as you do.

It always seems so strange to me how some people who identify as conservative or Republican can share so much in common with the far left. Odd.

Me, personally, I still prefer a pro-life, pro-family, pro-religious freedom, states-rights, limited government, personal responsibility, strong defense, low taxes, small-business supporting kind of guy like Cruz.

You people have lost any concept of who the GOPe is or are.

When you accuse Ted Cruz of being GOPe, you are simply making fools of yourself.

Trump is the one who supported McConnell. Ted is the one who opposed him. Trump is the one who donated to democrats, not Ted Cruz

If you call all Republicans GOPe, who do you expect to vote for Mein Trump if you get him nominated.
