Enough with the debates! We had twelve of them already.

Far too many.

And they aren't really debates.

Most of them are choreographed as prime time opportunities for the moderators to show how clever they are and,
perhaps, give them an opportunity to boost their favorite or do a Candy Crowley axe job on the one they don't like.

A real debate would be a relief from these pseudo-debates.

Exactly right. The press is all the debates highlight...because they won’t do their jobs of vetting the candidates during news, they try to perform this service under the guise of offering us debate. Thus the candidates need not truly argue for their/against their opponent’s positions.

We settle for so little in terms of our candidates now. Slogans, sound bytes and platitudes will do.

Quite frankly if CNN wanted a debate, trump may have lied it. They tend to be good. But heck with Fox the worst. And Spanish channel. I can’t believe CNN has to a point treated trump better then fox.
