Emerson College Poll New York – Donald Trump 64%, Ted Cruz 12%, John Kasich 1%…

Emerson College releases a poll today of New York voters (pdf article here). As a generally intelligent person might expect, candidate Donald Trump crushes second place Ted Cruz by 52 points. Trump earns 64% support, Cruz 12%, Kasich barely 1%.
Actually, if you’re into numerology....

NY is NOT winner take all.
Winner take most.
27 congressional districts x3 = 81.
Each district gives 3.
50 pct or winner only candidate over 20 = 3.
2 or more candidates over 20, none over 50, winner gets 2, lower gets 1.
14 statewide delegates.
Winner over 50 gets all 14.
Winner under 50, proportional distro with a 20 pct threshold.

Now with that said, Trump could get all 95. He could easily eclipse 85. My working prediction is 89.
Now if Kasich drops out, Ted will have this I tells ya!!!

Seems you are correct. I did a google search just now and it's winner take most. I read the same article earlier and thought it said "winner take all". I was too quick.
NY maybe proportional, but with THOSE numbers he could sweep the whole dang state & get all 95!
As I have said from the beginning Ted Cruz is a zero....he ticks folks off when he says “Good Morning” to them.....he has that nutcase, lunatic Glenn Beck, running his show.....Nikki Haley & Lindsey Graham....ya gotta be kidding me!!! Those folks that call themselves Cruzies, should be hanging their heads in shame!!!
And....that goes for the good folks in Utah that support Ted Cruz. Cruz the lie teller, Cruz....the cheat, Cruz the Megyn Kelly adoree, Cruz the hater, Cruz the loser!!! And........John Kasich.....a certified, nutcase running around loose outside the confines of his cage. Go figure!!! Go Donald Trump!!!
I think Cruz would be a better president than Trump, but I’m not certain on that. I think Trump would be a good president and a great candidate, but I[m not certain on that. I’ll happily take Trump and hope it works out, but I’d also happily take Cruz if was a stronger campaigner. I hope he’ll be ready in eight years when Trump leaves office. Cruz has that long to catch up on that 52 point gap.

She was somewhere to the left of John McCain. It's the first time in ages I've turned off Anderson Cooper. Generally, it's a fair show.

Cruz spokesmodel Amanda Carpenter was on Twitter yesterday advocating and “Enemies List” of conservatives who support Trump.
Yeah, I saw that. My reply is their are 750k Texans who voted for Trump. She should be careful what she wishes for.
New York is a Winner-Take-Most state. With these Trump numbers, Trump likely takes every single delegate from New York. All 95 delegates.

Winner take all 95 delegates in New York - probably lots more in California, as well as many in the likes of New Jersey - who says Trump doesn’t make the magic number by July?.....
