Krauthammer: I Was Wrong for Laughing at Trump… Democrats Are Worried
Gateway Pundit ^ | March 17,2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 03/17/2016 4:47:45 PM PDT by Hojczyk

Charles Krauthammer finally admitted tonight that he was wrong when he laughing at Donald Trump six months ago. The FOX News pundit has been one of Donald Trump’s leading GOP Beltway detractors.

Krauthammer: He’s demonstrated the ability to bring out people who aren’t regular voters, aren’t regular Republicans, and he could alter the map. I think Democrats who thought six months ago, who thought he was a joke, I thought he was a joke for a nominee for the Republican Party, and a lot of people thought as well.

We were all wrong. So he has a capacity to appeal. So we have no way of knowing. But I do think Democrats are beginning to think that this is not a slam dunk and this guy he doesn’t play by the rules. He makes them up. And under a new set of rules she could lose to him.

What happened when the big %. Of evangelical repubs stayed home rather than vote for mitt who they didn’t think was a real christian?

Again this year, the “repubs” that choose to sit home will result in 8 more years of obammi policy

Well I know I won’t vote for Cruz now even if he is the nominee. If he wins fine but I will not vote for him.

Does the 37% of the Republican Party that will not vote for Trump in November worry the Democrats too?

The only people who worry about THAT statistic are those who believe in made-up stuff.

I don’t like to link to Huffpo, but this is an interesting article ...Trump can bring back the remaining Reagan Dems, as well as what we could term as the “Trump Dems” , which would be the younger replacements of the Reagan Dems ...

Awhile back, Morning Joe Scarborough told Chuck Todd, “I will tell you who is horrified right now. Bill Clinton is horrified at the prospect of every time Hillary Clinton bringing up women’s issues, Donald Trump puts out an Instagram ad and by the end of the campaign Bill Cosby and Bill Clinton are synonymous.”

...

They are still wrong. Trump knows the issues and which side to be on, and then he knows how to campaign.

I suspect the very elite and smarter than everyone Krauthammer has been influenced by the rabid, over-the-top get Trump machine that has been set into motion. I doubt he wanted to be a part of that and knew the smart money was on the side of Mr. Trump.

This classic historical example reminds me of Trump:

The following is a list of Paris newspaper headlines reporting the journey of Napoleon across France, on his return from exile on Elba, March 9 to March 22, 1815:

March 9

THE ANTHROPOPHAGUS HAS QUITTED HIS DEN

March 10

THE CORSICAN OGRE HAS LANDED AT CAPE JUAN

March 11

THE TIGER HAS ARRIVED AT CAP

March 12

THE MONSTER SLEPT AT GRENOBLE

March 13

THE TYRANT HAS PASSED THOUGH LYONS

March 14

THE USURPER IS DIRECTING HIS STEPS TOWARDS DIJON

March 18

BONAPARTE IS ONLY SIXTY LEAGUES FROM THE CAPITAL

He has been fortunate enough to escape his pursuers

March 19

BONAPARTE IS ADVANCING WITH RAPID STEPS, BUT HE WILL NEVER ENTER PARIS

March 20

NAPOLEON WILL, TOMORROW, BE UNDER OUR RAMPARTS

March 21

THE EMPEROR IS AT FONTAINEBLEAU

March 22

HIS IMPERIAL AND ROYAL MAJESTY arrived yesterday evening at the Tuileries, amid the joyful acclamation of his devoted and faithful subjects

I would expect nothing else from them. After all, they are Republicans....and the Rats know it.

Twinkie voted Cruz in our primary. Now I regret it. - I will, Lord willing, vote for TRUMP in the general election.
- No mortal man is capable of truly “fixing” this mess.
Obama has just about started a civil war between the blacks
& the whites with his gyrations. I’m now very willing to
risk it on Trump; hoping he can fix a little of what the
community organizer has loused up.

Does the 37% of the Republican Party that will not vote for Trump in November worry the Democrats too?*

______________________________________________________

I’m sorry but that is a pretty lame comment. If you look at the people who have thus far voted in the primary it is true that more have voted for someone else other than Trump but the same is true of any other candidate who has run so far. There are many more people who have voted against Cruz than voted against Trump and it just goes down hill from there with the other candidates.

After the primaries I hope you loosen you grip on your belt a little and get behind whomever the nominee is.
