I have some great Conservative-related pictures emailed to me on a regular basis.
How do I post them to FR?
Please understand, though. I am a computer nummie. I'm on Windows 7 now, but my first computer was a TRS Model 80. It was steam powered.... and part of me wishes I still had it.
Please walk me through this thoroughly (and "gently"), and understand my computer knowledge ends at about at how to spell "DOS,"
Thanks,

The same location without the spaces now looks like this"
The first thing is you will need to save your images to some place like photobucket.com. Then you will be able to post them with the HTML command. Someone will post the command or I will go find it.
In before, “Are you logged in?”
They can’t really be “posted” to FR.
You have to sign up for any one of several free online websites (such as photobucket) which will “house” your pix and furnish a “horizontal” reference to same. You don’t post the pix itself. You post a link to the stored image. That link has the peculiar syntax which begins “a = href”. On the photobucket site once you successfully upload an image, you will have the choice as to which of four syntaxes you wish to use. For FR, you are looking for that “a = href”.
Baffled yet?
Visit “html sandbox” at the top of any FR page.
It’s baffling at first. It’s simple once you do it a few times. Test yourself by hitting “preview”. Don’t post a “test” image, please.
In before “This is hugh and series”.
I use imgur super easy.

You can also designate the graphic size by adding tags such as height="123" and/or width="123" within the < brackets >
Make sure you like the preview before you double-click POST.
Tinypic is pretty good to.
In before “Thailand?”
I second imgur.com as an image host. Photobucket has turned into a crappy site full of spam and malware.

Thanks. I’ve never bothered to get an account so I could link pics. Maybe I will for my 17th FR anniversary this year.
