I want to congratulate Donald Trump on a big victory in Florida. With those words, Marco Rubio opened his speech to supporters in Miami Tuesday night after learning Trump won the GOP primary in Rubios hometown state.
While it is not Gods plan that I be President in 2016 or maybe ever and while today while today my campaign is suspended, the fact that Ive even come this far is event of how special America truly is and all the reason more while we must do all that we can to ensure that this nation remains a special place. I ask the people do not give in to the fear, do not give in to the frustration.
Rubio spoke of the turmoil surrounding this years Election.
America is in the middle of a real political storm, a real tsunami, and we should have seen this coming. People are angry and people are very frustrated.

As Cruz would say in his native accent: Get oooooot!
He didn’t just lose, he got shellacked..in his home state.
... I wonder if he had very bad advice...
The worst advice was to join the gang of 8
That was the coup ‘d gras for him.
After dividing the vote until most of the delegate rich states have voted, when it was plain for a month that he had no chance, he suspends his campaign. And warns against Trump.
He is the reason that Trump is the nominee.
I don’t like Trump’s crudeness. I think he will disappoint on a yuuuge number of issues, where he has taken conservative positions for a couple of years or a couple of months, after decades of taking the liberal position. I’ll still vote for Cruz, but the race is close to decided.
It’s time to get behind Trump as the only hope to stop Hillary from making Obama’s far left changes permanent.
GOPe and especially Rubio, you have given us Trump. Congratulations.
In a winner-take-all election, “teaming up” means losing. When you run three candidates against one, you divide your vote and lose.
“The heckler should have kept his mouth shut. Rubio had a classy speech as he exited.”
Yes, and inspirational. I didn’t support Rubio either, but I don’t think Trump, or Cruz, could give a speech like that.
If he had done it earlier, it would have done some good, but now he's pretty much thrown the race to Trump.
I can tolerate Trump, but I would rather have had Cruz. I regard Trump as a "Johnny come lately" conservative.
“I wish he had quit earlier, he would have saved himself this embarrassing loss . “
Yes, and since it was mathematically impossible for him to score enough delegates anyway, it proves it was all about him, and not about America.
What could have been. He could have been fantastic if he had not deliberately not gone against his constituents in going all=on for amnesty. If he had instead adopted Trump’s positions regarding immigration as soon as he got into Congress he could have been a juggernaut.
He completely misread what the USA is and has suffered permanently.
In my mind, his only avenue is to plead with Hillary to become her VP. The libs love a slick-talking, young, amnesty-loving Hispanic.
Rubio concentrated to take out Trump here in FL
Kasich was in for OH to stop Trump and cruz was in MO and NC to stop trump
This was a concerted effort by the establishment to stop trump and they will not stop , until they get their contested convention.
“I regard Trump as a “Johnny come lately” conservative. “
In what manner shape or form is Trump conservative?
Conan, what is best in life?!
Rubio needs to keep his Senate seat.
He can beat Grayson.
No other GOP can say that.
Grayson is SERIOUSLY EVIL
EVEN HARRY REID wants nothing to do with him.
Christ on a crutch, SHRILARY! sounds like the scratchy voiced supreme BITCH of the Universe.!
“In a winner-take-all election, teaming up means losing. When you run three candidates against one, you divide your vote and lose.”
It was all done by GOPe to get Jeb elected.
They guessed wrong.
BTW, Jeb would have finished a poor 4th.
I’m having a Deluxe Platter of Schadenfruede with sweet tea.
The most charitable comment I have is: Rubio, you need more maturity and independence, and not be driven by others who can buy your influence."
So who is left for the establishment to get behind-Cruz?
