REPUBLICAN WIMPS ABSOLVE THE RIOTERS
WND ^ | March 14,2016 | PATRICK J. BUCHANAN

Friday evening’s Donald Trump rally in Chicago was broken up by a foul-mouthed mob that infiltrated the hall and forced the cancellation of the event to prevent violence and bloodshed.

Brownshirt tactics worked. The mob, triumphant, rejoiced.

Friday night cried out for moral clarity. What we got from Trump’s rivals was moral mush that called to mind JFK’s favorite quote from Dante: The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in time of moral crisis maintain their neutrality.

As news outlets have reported, Friday’s disruption at the University of Illinois-Chicago auditorium was a preplanned assault.

Behind it were the George Soros-funded MoveOn.org, Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wall Street, Hispanics hoisting Mexican flags and cop-haters carrying filthy signs to show their contempt for police.

People for Bernie, a pro-Sanders outfit, tweeted, “[This] wasn’t just luck. It took organizers from dozens of organizations and thousands of people to pull off. Great work.”

Now, Sanders did not order this assault on the civil rights of Trump supporters. But MoveOn.org has endorsed him, and “Bernie” signs and T-shirts were everywhere among the disrupters. Hence, he has a duty to disavow this conduct and those who engaged in it.

Prediction. Given their “victory” in Chicago, MoveOn.org and its allied nasties will try to replicate it, again and again. And as Americans came to despise the ’60s radicals, they will come to despise them.

And, as in the 1960s, the country will take a turn – to the right.

America has changed from the land we grew up in. But she is not yet ready to allow ugly mobs screaming obscenities at Trump and his folks inside and outside that hall in Chicago, or their paragons like socialist Bernie Sanders, to take over the country.

In 1970, when President Nixon sent U.S. troops into Cambodia to clean out Viet Cong sanctuaries, and students rioted, Ronald Reagan called them “cowardly fascists,” and declared, “If there’s going to be a bloodbath, let it begin here.”

Oh dear. Ted will get all in a lather over harsh rhetoric like that!

Trump has been doing about punching people or "knock the crap out of them." is destroying this election.

Hey knucklehead - the Left have poisoned politics for decades. Long before Trump and even when Trump was working for his father in the company. I know the GOPe-wing of FR is psychologically incapable of seeing a Republican actually fight back and ripping a page out of the Left's handbook, but it's there.

>>I am very confident Mr. Cruz at this point is looking back on his comments with deep regret.>>

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I would like to think this, but Cruz has been smoked out as a true globalist on trade, his earlier denials notwithstanding.

So I don’t know what to think about him anymore.

In any event, the limp-wristed approach is very unbecoming. It’s indistinguishable from Bernie or Obama. It IS NOT WHAT WE WANT IN POTUS.

“The Rosenbergs were EXECUTED......and you think that’s what should happen to Cruz, Kasich or Rubio because they don’t agree with Trump?”

Naw. Even these 3 stooges have a right to talk stupid. However, I do think they should all 3 (along with many more) be tried for Treason/violating their oaths to defend & uphold the Constitution.

I know that you’re crafting giant strawmen, and you’ll probably quote mine my post so you can demand that we be civil to the Leftists who want to literally kill us, but if you honestly seek clarification:

Disagreement with Trump, or conservatism, is not grounds for execution. It is never acceptable to terminate a candidate ourselves without a trial; extralegal remedies are never justified unless you are immediately endangered for your beliefs (and given that we are posting on a conservative website without fear of punishment at the moment, we are clearly not under immediate danger).

The assassin also does not understand that their methods will never be applied consistently, and thus would never lead to an effective justice system.

If politicians are convicted of treason (such as knowingly and deliberately sabotaging American security in the interest of illegals/Iranians/etc., or sabotaging an election for the sake of a party boss’s whim) by an impartial court, they should indeed be executed. The three GOP-e’s endorsement of Leftist murderers, private property violations, and 1st Amendment violations (among their other crimes) suggest that were they to be put on trial, they would be found guilty.

Politicians commit heinous actions precisely because they face no real consequences. Why wouldn’t a self-interested politician give out billions to his buddies at Solyndra to make nothing, or have millions appropriated for their own personal use, if they would never be punished for their actions? Would a minor fine or minor jail sentence really act as a deterrent against malicious actions?

When you don't fight back, all you do is guarantee the world will treat you as it's doormat.

It's not a difficult concept, but it's apparently beyond the GOPe to comprehend.

If more people thought like you and I, there probably wouldn’t even be an effective left wing. You’d think that long term FReepers would realize by now that the Left can’t be reasoned with and that their ideas are deliberately malicious.

What else can you call these policies:

Borders: SURRENDER
Economy: SURRENDER
Banking: SURRENDER (to international interests)
Coal Industry: SURRENDER (okay, maybe Cruz innocent on this)
Obama legal? SURRENDER
Sovereignty: SURRENDER

. . . and many more.

I despise moral cowards, and Cruz is the epitome of a moral coward.

I wouldn't vote for Cruz for the unpaid assistant to the assistant dog catcher.

The same goes for Rubio and Kasich.
