Ohio Governor John Kasich Voices Support for Common Core

Ohio Governor John Kasich announced earlier this week that he is firmly in support of the national Common Core standards.

The standards were adopted by Ohio in 2010, as well as in more than 40 other states, after being developed by the National Governors Association and the Council of Chief State School Officers in order to boost college readiness among US students.

Common Core is a set of learning goals outlining what students should learn in each grade level with specific focuses on math and English. States must meet these goals in order to obtain federal funding. How they meet them is up to each state.

The Common Core standards were fully implemented in Ohio school districts this year.

Amnesty for illegal aliens.
Common Core.
Sympathy for democrat party rioters.
NAFTA-TPP-TPA ...
Romney’s endorsement.
Bush’s endorsement is next?

So, will McConnell’s and McCain’s endorsement swing Ohio union voters to Kasich?
Who will endorse him next? Hillary? Pelosi-Reid-Oboma?

“Ohio Governor John Kasich announced earlier this week that he is firmly in support of the national Common Core standards.”

This prattling on about Common Core standards is the main DECEPTION of proponents of Common Core.

They tend to make people believe that schools never had any standards, or that their standards were not good enough.

The standards in Common Core — some are okay, some not, but it is blatant anti-American indoctrination of Common Core that is so hideous. In twelve years of Common Core, students who are educated under it will not be recognizable as Americans. They will be “citizens of the world”.

Kasuck is the consummate “go along to get along” party hack kind of guy. So soft spoken, so reserved, so sensible and so completely full of $*1+! Why bother voting for Kasuck, just insert John Boehner; they’re completely interchangeable.

He's dead, Jim.

I suspect the American people universally despise Common Core more than illegal immigration. (only because some states don't yet realize what a threat the illegals are to them).

Kasich would have had a better chance, if he switched parties and ran against Hillary.

They tend to make people believe that schools never had any standards, or that their standards were not good enough.

They also lie about how the curricula aren't set nationally, that they are set locally. Sure, if your local suburb wants to go out and invent its own curriculum, hire people to write text books and then publish them just for your district, and generate your own testing. Otherwise you use the same "common core compliant" books as everyone else. So tell us again how the local schools get to come up with their own curricula.
