WASHINGTON (AP) — The Latest on the 2016 presidential race two days before critical contests in Florida, Ohio, Missouri, North Carolina and Illinois (all times Eastern Daylight Time):

5:15 p.m.

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump blames Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders for increasingly frequent disruptions at the GOP hopeful's massive campaign rallies, and he says he has the answer: Send his supporters to Sanders' rallies.

Sanders on Sunday offered a reply: Bring 'em on.

Trump took to Twitter on Sunday, writing that the Vermont senator is "lying when he says his disruptors aren't told to go to my rallies. Be careful Bernie, or my supporters will go to yours!"

The answer followed from Sanders' official Twitter account: "Send them. They deserve to see what a real honest politician sounds like."

Both Sanders and Trump have roused their supporters by railing against international trade agreements and decades of wage stagnation. But Sanders, along with Trump's Republican rivals, have noted that Trump adds caustic rhetoric about immigration, drawing protesters who end up clashing with his supporters.

Sanders, Clinton and the MSM are to blame. Imagine if Trump supporters were violently disrupting Sanders or Clinton rallies?

What if they were right wing, white, Christains?

Would they blame Sanders or Clinton?

The International Left resorts to its old tricks...

The lying MSM propaganda machine is in high gear too.

It’s just like the Lincoln-Douglas debates.

According to Roger Stone, the riots were actually a Clinton operation aimed at both smearing Bernie as being linked to violence, and driving a wedge between Bernie supporters and Trump supporters since Clinton feels (with justification) that there is a potential for Bernie supporters to cross over the vote for Trump for his stand on the economy.

This sounds very plausible to me.

I'd like to see both sides cool it.

Hillary is going to continue stealing the nomination.

The actual Sanders voters (protesters and voters are not necessarily the same) may cross over to and support Trump just to spite the beast.

I had heard that report and then thought, why would Trump prefer to go after Sanders when he might have a free shot at Hillary? But maybe he is crazy like a fox. He has already said that he would prefer to go up against the Clintons (I’m not sure why), and he seems to be going far out of his way to make a big deal about Bernie’s role among the protesters.

Perhaps, in the general, he wants expose the fact that it was a Hillary dirty trick after all. that will make Bernie fans go ape$h!t (we was robbed!), if that were to go mainstream after the conventions.

Sounds very plausible to me too.

Someone found a Google trace (not sure of the technical term) that points to the Bernie website having info for protesters planning to go to Trump rally in FL tonight.

"Sanders on Sunday offered a reply: Bring 'em on."

While Sanders is not denying that his supporters are disrupting Trump rallies, corrections welcome, another post in this thread questioned if Hillary supporters at Trump rallies are trying to smear Sanders. Both explanations are plausable imo.

Doug Giles has an excellent op-ed out today, titled:

Notice the words being used by Sanders.

He says his "campaign" is not responsible for the disruptions.

Yet he castigates Trump's "supporters."

That is comparing apples to oranges.

Bernie's "supporters" are disrupting Trump's rallies.

Sanders should "disavow" his "supporters" if he expects Trump to do the same.

You must have missed the FR thread where sanders said his supporters are not to blame:

Sanders: Don't blame my supporters for violence at Trump rally

A Trump - Sanders feud could be bad news for Hillary. It will fire up Bernie’s base, and might bring significant numbers of undecided Democrat voters over to Bernie’s side if they think he is a bigger threat than Hillary to mean, evil Donald Trump. This could cost Hillary several key primaries that she was expected to win.

Yes, I did miss thread. Thanks for link.

I wonder if Sanders was cunning enough to start rumors about Hillary.

Personally I find it totally unfair that she got all those Super delegates while Sanders only got a handful.

So agree.

If Trump not the nominee, Clinton will destroy the other nominee.

The polls are playing with people.

This sounds very plausible to me.

I have noticed at the end of a long hard day, driving home late at night with a tired mind, that talk of space aliens from another dimension building the pyramids on Coast to Coast AM may begin to feel more plausible than they would at other times.

Even though I am tired now, I am not quite tired enough to think Hilary secretly planned this riot. Maybe it was the pyramid building space aliens though....the goa'uld...
