Protesters, including domestic terrorist and Obama supporter Bill Ayers, clashed with Trump supporters inside the arena prior to Trump’s arrival.
Anti-Trump protesters chanting slogans like “Black Lives Matter” and waving Mexican flags, pushed, shoved and swung at Trump supporters who simply gathered to watch the event.
The MoveOn.org website that supports Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders took partial credit for the disruption and threatened that the same type of actions would continue at future Trump rallies.
And there was plenty more evidence, like the following tweet from “People 4 Bernie,” that showed the protests were anything but spontaneous.

The legal case would likely drag out longer than the campaign, but I’d certainly encourage the filing a lawsuit.. Discovery would be very illuminating. (But truthfully, I suspect that MoveOn, after fighting tooth and nail to have the case dismissed as meritless would settle for legal costs and the event costs and avoid any discovery.)

It’s all fun and games until the shooting starts.
It depends. Our definition of "terrorism" has mutated somewhat from the original meaning, from the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution, when mobs of rioters roamed around attacking people with nicer clothes than them. Now it's more likely to be some muslim in a burkha and a suicide belt, blowing up the marketplace In Jerusalem.
It easily fits the original description. Organized mob violence is intended to intimidate, to strike fear into the lives of everyday people. Period.
It's not "free speech", it's not protected by the First Amendment. It is riot, chaos and anarchy. And when it's as organized as this latest Chicago Riot was, it is nothing less than organized attempt to spread fear in order to stifle debate. And that, my friends, is how terrorists operate.
This had nothing to do with Trump and was merely a political extension of Ferguson.
