Thank you for posting this video. I always liked Cruz and he was my 2nd choice. After watching this, I hope this ruins his chance for the nomination.

I will be thrilled if he suffers crushing defeat in every remaining primary. It’s apparent to me now that he’s a part of the problem in this country.

Sorry but I think Move On and Sanders get’s the blame for this one. More over the media gets the most blame by developing the narrative. Conservatives respect free speech not disruptions. Again who started the problems.

In your blame you speak of about maybe a dozen people or even if it’s 50 that’s a very small percentage compared to the hundreds of thousands that have attended his rallies.

I am an engineering manager and I am constantly trying to get people to engage in critical thinking. It is a lost art.

BTW if you look at my posts I totally defended Trump from the racism allegations. I believe the pursuit of truth is what we shall ask be engaged in. And it sets you free.

So at 1:22 when he says “...but in a campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively promotes violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this type of discord.”

That quote shows exactly how Sen. Cruz is twisting reality to try to score points against Mr. Trump. The Trump campaign doesn't promote violence, where and when have Trump supporters instigated violence against anybody? They have responded to attacks, and defended themselves, and at many events law enforcement officers and security personnel have removed protesters. But the protesters are the people starting the problems, not the campaign or its supporters.

The people starting problems and instigating violence are the protesters, who for some reason Sen. Cruz is now siding with.

With respect to the statement "when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press" Sen. Cruz is repeating a strange allegation which may be factually incorrect, and in order for the "members" to be plural Sen. Cruz appears to be including an incident where a Secret Service agent pushed a member of the press to the ground after the member of the press tried to touch the agent. How is that physical violence by the campaign? Perhaps Sen. Cruz has a problem with the Secret Service, but they aren't under Mr. Trump's control, and Sen. Cruz must surely know that aggressively touching a Secret Service agent is likely to result in a physical response from the agent.

We wouldn't be having this debate if Trump hadn't advocated punching people. Had Trump not done that I would agree with you. But he did.

There are threads here from not that long ago stating that by Trump saying what he said he was inviting stuff like this to happen and he'd take heat for it. Remember Trump using 9-11 as rebuttal to New York values? That was pretty low too.

And last but not least, this is take no prisoners politics where the slightest thing is exaggerated for advantage. That is reality for better or worse. When it is your guy making the kill it is "brilliant". When it is your guy getting "killed" it is sleaze.

He’s disgusting. I didn’t like some of what he’s said at a few of the debates but nothing on par with this level of disgust. He’s shown he’s a scumbag imo.

.. and just one statement is ALL it takes to encite a mob mentality...

So, you still insist upon blaming a man with a sharp tongue, for the acts of thousands of barbarians who just tore up that event facility?

You do realize that Trump made that one comment in a moment of passion, when a protestor got into a physical altercation with some his supporters at a live rally? Are you also aware that it was the protestor, and not Trump, who caused that ruckus to begin with?

And are you aware that Trump doesn't have a repetitive mantra of violence or incitement to violence? It's not his message. It's not in his mission statement anywhere. It was one comment, spoken during a very heated moment, which was initiated by a violent leftist, who was bent on disruption of a peaceful event.

The man fights back. He calls things as they are. It's why we love him, and it's why he's winning this race, hands down.

Thanks for the link. The video is as bad as people have been saying. There’s no way anyone can honestly spin this in Cruz’s favor. He starts off with the obligatory disclaimer that the protesters bare ultimate responsibility, but then everything he says after that, is him attempting to argue that the complete opposite is true. Typical weasel lawyer-speak. I hope people finally begin to see Cruz for the fraud he is.

Uhh, tomorrow is Saturday. You will have to wait a few days.

You're right. We've been rained out all week, so my sense of days and time is kaput. Rain's stopped now, so we'll be working over the weekend.

Oh he will. He will find a way.

Sad thing is that people are caring less and less for Rush and his opinion.
