One of the country’s most influential conservative magazines has endorsed Ted Cruz for president, after its top editors said that they believe the Texas senator is the only Republican candidate left in the race who can defeat Donald Trump.
“Ted’s the only one with a plausible path to stopping Trump,” National Review editor Rich Lowry told Politico, “either by getting a majority himself or denying Trump a majority and finishing close behind and getting it to the convention.”

If there were any Americans left that wanted to stop Trump they might have a point.
IOW, it’s not about the issues or the freedoms awarded us by our founders, it’s about stopping one eligible candidate from running against two ineligible candidates. What a shame.
Actually the Republican Party Elites have enabled this Behavior and have encouraged it.

I watched a YouTube clip the other night, a Firing Line from 1980. William F. Buckley interviewing Ronald Reagan.
What the hell happened to Buckley's magazine? 'Cuz I doubt it'd be so hospitable to Reagan today.

Cruz is not going to stop Trump and neither is anybody else. Its all over next Tuesday.
I think WFB was a good man. I think that eventually little weasel acolytes who tend to latch onto great men took over the magazine.
I would have respected their decision if they had endorsed Cruz a year ago when he was actually anti-GOPe, but being endorsed by RINO Central paints a damning picture of Cruz.
What would Cruz do about thousands of protesters at his rally?
Why were so many so-called republicans eager to help Hillary Clinton win the White House?
What is this, the fifth guy they’ve endorsed?
This campaign is such a joy. It’s like watching a spontaneous trash fire.
They call themselves conservatives, yet the only reason they support Cruz is he is the ONLY one who can beat Trump. For that reason only? Real brilliant! Dumbazzs!
